Evening army! Stopping in for a quick hello after it took me forever to catch up [emoji14]

Bronze, I broke my tailbone when having my daughter and not a day goes by it doesn’t ache when I’m sitting upright very long. In the car I had to recline my seat to a different angle, when I sit on the couch I have to sit “to the side” so to speak and sit more to one hip or the other. I’ve learned to just slouch a bit and keep my hips in front of my shoulders when I have to sit in hard chairs. They sell awesome gel seat covers for computer chairs if you spend a lot of time in one though :) I refuse to use a donut lol

Glad all is ok for y’all out there hula [emoji173]️ I was worried about you. It definitely makes ya wonder... then again I’m pretty distrustful of most things from the higher ups. Who can say I guess...

Papaw hope things are feeling a bit better for you. I’m sure you’re stir crazy at this point.

Robin good luck with the test again. Fingers crossed

To everyone, I miss y’all and hope all are well. Big smooches all around

Awww thanks everyone. It occurred to me that this is probably the first time since the Cold War 50 years ago that folks anywhere in the USA have experienced anything like this. We've been blessed comparatively speaking.

as far as warning the public about an on coming disaster... why? look how long it took people to leave new orleans when Katrina was coming.... every road out of the city was a moving parking lot... and that was with 2 days early notice...

another KT ( world killer asteroid) ... where would you go? another Pompay (sp) or Krakatoa or even Yellowstone going off would be difficult to run from... and the long term effects to deal with... and especially this time of the year... its just too cold to be running around outside..

Hula, I am so relieved that you are safe. I have been at a friend's house. When I got home I've been busy with the pets, and trying to eat a bite of food. Cassie had a melt down when I was gone. I think she has separation anxiety. She is all happy now that I'm back, but she won't leave my side. I can guarantee you she will sleep on my lap while I watch a show in a bit.

Anyway, yes we probably won't hear the whole story on the scary news. We live in troubling times. Things seem to be at a low boil, and it could go sideways on us in a heartbeat. I cannot imagine getting a text like you all did. I'm glad you didn't know about it. That would've been nerve wracking for sure.

Good evening :)

I've been on the lookout for my dining room light for over the table. Finally found it after keeping an eye out for a year. It was delivered today. Time to schedule the electrician.

I found it while looking through the HGTV magazine that my mother-in-law gets. Looked it up online and it was on sale too! Win!

Pictures, please? :)

To be honest, I think it was a lot more insidious than that, - and not because of NK doing anything - given that there was 39 minutes between the text "This is not a drill" and Oops, false warning, ooh sorry about that. I'll not say more, other than what were "they" waiting for, to happen in that 39 minutes. Yes, I do think massive agendas are that evil.

Uh-huh. Insidious. Especially considering that this "accidental" setting off of the missile alert required TWO "accidental" presses of the alarm button: the initial push, followed by the query "Are you sure?", followed by a second push. Not making this up. Saw that on a news site somewhere -- although hell, who knows anymore!

Why? So you can get down on your knees and prepare to meet your Maker, especially if you're not in the habit of being ready for that anyway . . . :sneaky:

Pictures, please? :)

It's picture is the thing sitting on the floor waiting to get put up.

Second picture shows our light fixtures in the kitchen and over the bar.

It is an open concept house so I like keeping the continuity of similar styles and finishes.

That's very attractive! (I like your kitchen, too! :))
