You only need 10mbps up and down to stream with fire stick. Your modem thru spectrum should provide more than enough. However your ISP may try to throttle your internet ecspecially if your trying to stream movies “illegally” which is why I have a VPN to hide my traffic.

Your ISP is spectrum they all monitor your traffic. I’ve never had an issue with them in the past. But with a VPN it hides your internet traffic so they can’t see what your doing on the internet. A lot of the issues I’ve had with fire tv are just bad streams I just move on to the next link until I find a good link.

My package with spectrum was “Up to 300mbps” but never came close what they don’t tell you is that you share that within your neighborhood. I went with Windstream Kinetic lifetime price with fiber internet. My speeds are typically around 700mbps up and down

That's lightning quick. I have Spectrum's 100 mbps package and my actual is 118 mbps. And it is consistent. I drop to about 50 mbps thru the wifi.
