WAY TO GO MILADY!!!! I don't understand the CEA levels, so where's the goalpost on this one? What's your ultimate "number" that will make us all party hearty for you?
I need the number to get to the range of 5.0 - 0.0. The CEA is a blood marker for my cancer. Upward movement means cancer is still active and producing these markers. Downward movement, cancer is dying. I have a theory (dontcha just love armchair doctors?
It’s true! And my thanks for disputing my feelings of ignorance.
I was joking. But it is true I get pronunciations wrong pretty often, usually because I’m mostly self-taught from books. In a classroom you at least get to hear the instructor pronounce the word for whatever concepts you are learning about. These days with YouTube learning, you can hear the presenter. With books, it’s all just sounding it out in your head. First time I encounter the name “Phoebe” was in a novel I read as a young teen. In my head, it was “FOHb” and I didn’t learn the right way for years after!
This is why @Bunnykiller and I get along - he can’t spell and I can’t pronounce!![]()
With all the medical jargon being in my med reports, talking to doctors and nurses, I was constantly butchering the pronunciation of these terms. I finally just googled the pronunciation and I do that each time I run into a new one. I'm amazed that they actually have YouTube for pronouncing words!
