Pretty excited about that, as some of the garage stuff can go to the barn.. the cluttered garage drives me crazy.
I always get a good laugh on weekends driving around neighborhoods. Saturday morning and everyone opens their garage door and it stays open all weekend so we can look at all their crap. Their cars look so sad that they have to sit outside while the crap lives in their house. :)

Sun is shining, birds are singing, I woke up. :D
Or as 71 year old frontman Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues said in his greeting at the concert I saw a couple years ago in Florida..."Hi, happy to be here. Happy to be anywhere".

Good morning, Army!

Well, thanks to you Brits, I now feel ignorant saying it the ‘Murican way. Not the first time! Meaning, I’ve felt ignorant before and the US way of saying a thing just ain’t as purty as elsewhere!

The pronunciation is apparently contagious. I was watching a cooking show that went to Italy and the native Italian chef also pronounced it Oree GAHN oh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Absolutely do NOT feel ignorant! Don't they say, the Americans and the English have everything in common, and are only separated by the same language, or something like that? :D garage, guh-RAHGE, vase, vahze, and so on .....

And I finally took down that dead oak tree today. Got it logged out. Enough Chainsaw McGraw for one day. I'll haul the logs to the burn pile some other day. I just did not want it falling into the house with one of these crazy storms this spring. Got lucky as it is with these nor'Easters we've been having lately.

I haven't tried rosemary, but the other 2 we love. Especially thyme. Now fennel, blech:nah:. I don't do grains in my diet except on special occasions, so I've been making a Fathead Pizza crust. It's pretty good!

Spent the day yesterday cleaning up the yard. I think I raked for 2 hours. It looks much better, but still need to haul off some stuff. 7 more weeks and we can clean out the barn completely, as the kids will be done with show animals permanently. Pretty excited about that, as some of the garage stuff can go to the barn.. the cluttered garage drives me crazy.

Robin I'm glad you are getting a break and that your hands are better.

Have a great day all..:)

Fennel! Blech! I once had a wicked migraine triggered by anise. Ever since then anything remotely like it gives me fits. Licorice and fennel remind me of it so I can’t tolerate them.

Yay for decluttering as the kids grow up! Mine was the basement. I rented a large trash bin from a “picker” type guy and cleaned out toys and old computer stuff. That bin was overflowing. A few years later I cleaned it out again. Tons of bags to the curb. A few years after that I moved. More tons of bags to the curb and then I ran out of time. Left several large piles and boxes that my brother cleared out for me!

Just wait till you get to move to a smaller place where cleaning the whole thing takes a few hours and someone else does the raking and outside maintenance! ;)

It’s true! And my thanks for disputing my feelings of ignorance. ;)

I was joking. But it is true I get pronunciations wrong pretty often, usually because I’m mostly self-taught from books. In a classroom you at least get to hear the instructor pronounce the word for whatever concepts you are learning about. These days with YouTube learning, you can hear the presenter. With books, it’s all just sounding it out in your head. First time I encounter the name “Phoebe” was in a novel I read as a young teen. In my head, it was “FOHb” and I didn’t learn the right way for years after!

This is why @Bunnykiller and I get along - he can’t spell and I can’t pronounce! :D

That’s my cue to tell you that you should build some gorgeous furniture! But there’s no beautiful warm fire quite like you get from oak. So I’ll stay quiet. :)

So today, my sourdough finally did this! It’s finally active enough to raise bread all by itself (no dried yeast added to boost it) without flopping! One big loaf and a couple more baguettes in the freezer.

Also, it looks like we’re gonna need a bigger boat. :glug:

Good Morning Army. Sleeping better, without pain. Second injection nay have been the final step towards getting right, and getting back to work. Four Months out, Mamaw still here somehow ..

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

That’s great news! I’m sure you are relieved to get a break from pain. I’ll keep Mamaw in my prayers. :)

And you too, of course.
