Retic I do understand what you are saying. Most all of our politicians have disappointed me to no end. That is why I became an Independent. You are left with mostly two choices, the way I see it. You can choose the bullet train, or the slow train. They both sadly are going in the same direction, away from freedom. There are a few who try to hold the line. The more I know, the less I like what our future has in store for us. People need to get out of the boxes they are trying to divide us with, and unite. That is our only real hope for a decent future. The light needs to shine on the darkness, before we see a change for the better. Some groups are doing their best to see that never happens. The younger folks may have the muscle, but we have the wisdom. Common sense needs to prevail, but sadly that doesn't seem to be happening.
We're way past the point of common sense , things have gone too far and the beaurocracy is too entrenched to be removed by voting for this one or that one . I hope I'm not alive to see it but this country is gonna collapse under the weight if it . The younger folks are brainwashed , there's not a lot to be expected from them . The professors that taught them need to be tried for treason and eliminated like the disease they are . We need libertarian judges in the federal and supreme courts to stop the nonsense , little chance of that happening though . That's where it needs to start IMO . Just my two cents on the matter .

IMG_0076.JPG I was driving and we passed a bison walking down the road. I made eye contact as we passed very slowly. Hubby managed to capture the moment. We were about 2-3 feet away from him. Huge animal and so docile looking but I wouldn't want to try to pet one! They can be very dangerous.

I agree for the most part, but I still have hope. There are people that are starting to see things for what they really are. If you don't agree with the agenda, your ability to communicate that is being challenged. The harder they push, the more eyes will be opened. It may be too little too late. People have to read their history while such books are still available. It is obvious that the focus has been on less meaningful avenues. What is more important than freedom, and what has been tried and failed in the past? Losing rights will only lead to a long dark road, full of misery.

Robin, great photo! Too close for comfort for me, I'd say. Imagine thousands of them wandering free, like in the old days. Did you ever see Dances with Wolves? I loved that movie.

I have seen parts of that movie. I don't handle suspense well...

We saw many small herds and many single bison throughout the park. Since we were in the car and I was going faster than the bison itself, no traffic either in front of me, I felt safe enough.

It was so freakin' cool !!

All true! There’s another issue lurking - the collapse of the dollar. Global commerce is moving away from being based on the US dollar. We moved off the gold standard and it degraded from there. The Fed simply “prints” cash that’s based on nothing except whatever value everyone agrees that it has. Fewer and fewer agree that it’s worth anything at all. There are some tricks employed in high finance that would blow your mind! I studied accounting and finance, along with economics, and have always been interested in how it all works. It’s so convoluted now that it’s nearly impossible to comprehend! If you break through the details, you see a Ponzi scheme. And those always collapse.

We are headed for trouble. But, like Kelly, I have hope. Catastrophic events do have a way of waking people up.

The FDA is now cracking down on e-liquid packaging. Anything that appears to appeal to youth must be removed - bright colors, anthropomorphism of animals, cartoon figures, etc.

Someone created this image of a foolproof way to discourage youth from being tempted by e-liquid packaging. Hilarious!

These tweets from the FDA are just plain misleading! Receiving calls is NOT the same as an actual poisoning. 8,200+ calls over a 5 year period? How many during that same period for other substances? How can we tell if that’s a lot or a little compared to other calls?

How many calls were there during the same period that were about highly toxic prescription medications routinely prescribed to children? How many related to household cleaners? Tide Pods?

This is going to get even more ridiculous!

They already pushed childproof caps. I have more of a need for arthritis friendly caps instead. There are lots of dangers for young children. You have to use common sense on how to deal with that. When my kids were young, I childproofed my home as much as possible. Some things need to be locked up. It sounds like they are looking for excuses to me.

Exactly! I’m sure there were quite a few calls to poison control centers because kids got into their parents’ strawberry flavored vodka. Or drank some Mike’s Hard Lemonade they found in the fridge. Why isn’t everyone screaming to regulate flavored alcohol? It’s all excuses.

I wouldn't know about that Bronze. I'm ready for this big fat mess to be over. They have nothing and it is costing the taxpayers a pretty penny. It is time to call an end to the dog and pony show as far as I am concerned.
It should never have started. We have big issues in front of us and we don't need hoax investigations. If they want to take out some of these people who worked in Trump's campaign that were pulling shenanigans years ago, fine. Let the DOJ do it. But the special counsel and Stormy, Stormy, Stormy are nothing but political distractions. As if we didn't know Trump wasn't a philanderer! I'm far more interested in the economy and taking that N. Korean weeble down a few notches...among other things that actually impact our lives.

I don't believe anything the FDA would tweet or post for that matter. They lie....

...especially when the anti-vaping lobby/anti-smoking lobby/anyone else climbing on the government grants and pharma salaries train, are telling people to make those bogus calls. Let's actually SEE some hospital or doctor certificate to back their "claims".

I was commenting on another thread. I see Trump replaced one of his lawyers today with a guy who used to work for the Clintons. Are there any lawyers who haven't worked for the Clintons?
    Sure there are....

or as one voter stated so succinctly, "I voted for Trump for President of the USA, not because I think he wants to date my daughter"

That had to be incredible! What a great pic!!! I keep looking at it and imagining how that must have felt. Years ago at Sea World in Florida I cried at seeing the killer whales. My limbs went all jittery. Such an awesome creature! Your pic reminds me of that moment. :)
