Crape Myrtles:

Aphids suck the sap out of the leaves. Aphids excrete honeydew. Mold grows on honeydew. Leaves turn black. Sunlight cannot penetrate leaves. Photosynthesis is severely ......ed. Leaves fall off.

Solution: Nail the tree with an insecticidal soap (e.g., Neem oil). Repeat every 7 - 10 days until you think the aphids are all dead.

Last year the Asian Ambrosia Beetle wasted my crapes. Had to cut them down to the stump. Let them grow back into a bush. Cut them down except for four branches so I could make a tree out of it. Started out great this year. Aphids had other plans. Tired of babying these things.

Nice to see the remains of these men who died in Korea come home. 65 years. It's about time. A salute for these brave men who made the ultimate sacrifice. And to their families who had to endure their absence waiting for them to never come home.

I agree. Let's hope it's really them. I wouldn't put it past that fat l'il ....... to have sent flunkies out to a Korean cemetery to dig up some graves and just randomly toss bones in boxes.

He's crazy but not stupid. He can imagine the response if he pulled a stunt like that.

Are you using Ghostery or Privacy Badger anti-tracking add-ons ? Ghostery is blocking 5 different trackers on ECF , and Google is trying to track me in 3 different ways from this site , along with the other criminals called Facebook and Twitter and some I don't recognize . All blocked though .

Hmmm . Jumped to 8 trackers blocked after I made the last post , Damn'd Matrix :) . :matrix:

Double post

ROFL at these 3 posts made one right after the other

anyway.... my excitement for the day was.... a pickup truck had about 1/2 a brick on the back bumper and when he hit a bump in the road it fell off and flung itself into the air and hit my car smackdab in the middle of the hood and flew over my car... no telling what else it hit behind me.... messed up the "paint" and cracked the smart emblem... didnt get the plate number.... and thank whomever that the brick didnt plant itself in my windshield... at first I thought it was a rubber motor mount or something of that nature since it bounced so well, but when I looked at the damage, there was brick dust on the hood and slivers of brick embedded in the emblem.....
