Morning... About time to head out for Saturday shopping. First stop PetSmart, then Costco to pick up my new hearing aids. Followed my the rest of it...
Good morning to all from Miali, Phoenix and Charali (me also).
Morning.... Should be an average Sunday.. The leaves have started falling but still too soon to bother with them. The new hearing aids are working good. They sound different which is to be expected. I'll go back in three weeks for any adjustments that I think are needed. My brain needs time to adjust to the difference in sound. Plus I really won't know what may be needed until I've used them daily for awhile. After one day I'd say they are going to be an improvement.
I looked up the cat rescues around. Just need to contact one to see what I can do. Because I can pet him a little I believe he can be rehabbed..

OK, I know I've never been able to keep up with this (these) threads since they are more about real life, but I am wondering . . . Where is the HHV Army getting the equivalent of HHV NET juices these days?
I live embarrassingly close to Newnan, GA yet still out of range for a visit without more reason.
One of my other favorite vendors is selling their flavors (sans nic) on Etsy. Is HHV doing something similar?

Good luck with those aids. Geez, it doesn’t take much imagination to know how important they are.
Tell me about it. They amplify everything except what you want. Mechanical noises from the car and air conditioner. Paper sliding across the desk - everything except human voices. Oh, and telephones. I've been through at least three sets, and they won't help a bit on phones.
Evening..... A lot cooler and windy.. Chane of rain or snow tonight and tomorrow.
I haven't had much trouble with my last two phones and aids. The new aids will stream calls to the aids. Which I was able to test today. They don't sound to bad. But I'm not on the phone very much anyway. I do agree voices with back ground noise has been a problem for me. But I think it's a problem for most all aids. I think these are a better with it than the old ones. How much better time will tell. Hearing Aids aren't going to restore hearing 100%. The tech just isn't there yet. I figure some things I'll just have to live with..
Evening... Windy and some rain poor Freddie is wet. But he was here meowing for dinner by the time I got inside.. Scurffy was not liking him so close the the fence. Freedie didn't care he wanted to eat...
He will probably try to come inside when it gets cold as cats don't like cold. He is a handsome cat and you have saved his life, for sure.
Afternoon... Yes I'm home. I'll be on light duty for awhile. That means I'll go in at 8:00 and be done after 8hrs. I messed up my right shoulder yesterday. Called it in as an injury and went to have it checked today. Looks like a problem in my rotator cuff. I'll have an MRI done to see if there is any damage. Or it could be that I'm just old and should be more careful. 
Well @retic1959 I know you detest politicians as much or more than any of us but I do like your senator (Kennedy). His comedic talent alone would get my vote. That he thinks like I think is just a bonus.
