Nope, fed my yeastie beasties instead. One more feeding this afternoon and tonight we should be making sourdough bread.

In another area - we got two light fixtures changed yesterday and these new ones have those, what are they light emitting diodes? Strangest lights I have ever seen! About a dozen or so tiny, flat, quarter inch squares spaced in a circle inside the fixture and they emit light just as strong as a conventional bulb. Amazing technology! :w00t:

I'll try to get a picture of one, but I'm pretty sure most of you have seen them in stores or adverts, 'cause I'm sure they came out there before coming over here. Super light-weight LED light fixtures.

Retic, I don't know how you've stood it without A/C. Glad BK got you fixed up. Today the real feel is gonna be 116, and tomorrow 118. Then they say we will have a cool spell come in. I am READY for that. I just hope my a/c in the house, and vehicle make it. My clutch is going out in my vehicle, and I have to get it in the shop. It is always something. My truck is 15 years old, and I hope to keep it running longer. The shop told me they have been covered up with a/c jobs. This heat is making vehicle a/c go down hard. I have been having to bump up the thermostat in the house in the afternoon, and evening to 82. That is rough for me. 79-80 is bad enough. I prefer lower, but afraid it will burn this old a/c unit out completely. Fall can't get here quick enough for me.

seems as if when "anything" turns 15 it goes wacko ;)
specially kids

Bronze, thanks for the tip. It has been 4 years or so since it was last serviced. The unit is 16 years old. I will go to Home Depot or Lowe's. What is the best cleaner you recommend?

The real feel is 116 right now. It is hotter than a firecracker, I'll say that much.

a garden hose with a small nozzle... dont use a chemical cleaner...

sodium hydroxide and aluminum creates black eroded aluminum and hydrogen...

( one of my first chemical reaction mixes to produce explosive hydrogen gas)
 BHUUHAHAhahahahahaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!!!

yup LEDs are pretty efficient... pricey at the moment, last 10000 hrs on avg, hardly any heat output... there are even outdoor flood lite types available.. but they are hot little boogers... they have a serious heat sink attached to the LED mounting assy.

One thing good about Thailand (or at least this part of Thailand) is that the temps rarely get over 90˚. The humidity is the killer, though. Right now it's 84˚F with humidity at 74% at 2:30 AM. Their expecting 93˚ on Monday with chance of rain so humidity will be up temps will actually go down as it's raining.

that is one of our cooler days in Nawlinz... this time of the year... 95+degrees and 95% humidity ( before it rains) once it rains its more like 93 degrees and 99% humidity since the overheated streets bake off the water and the steam rises off of them...
there are days when you can actually see the steam coming off of the cement ( aka 100% humidity... put on your gills)

Well I'm down to 8 squares of KGD cotton. Instead of ordering another box I decided to try Cotton Bacon V2. Never tried the original. I figured a lot of people say it's the best wicking material there is. So I got 2 packs at the B/M. Been using it tin the Lemo 2 for 3 days now and one of the RDAs. Putting it in the other one now. The strips are 4 inch's long so I cut it in haft which makes it just right for the tank and the RDAs. It is really easy to work and wicks better than the KGD. The taste is better and my vape seems smoother. Didn't think my vape could get much better but it is. The 2 packs should last for awhile but I'm going to check online prices and order some more. I defiantly recommend it.

Today we had to replace two gardens hose and their connectors, so another trip to Home Pro for parts.

Having leftover pizza & beer for lunch before continuing with the replacements.
Don't roll up the pizza, or David will be over there fighting you for them.

We get days like that but thankfully not too many.

Glad to hear she's doing better and that you're getting more sleep. ;)

Sorry to hear about your arm, Papaw. A few days away from that big ol' gear shift ought to help some. Plus a Thai massage and heat treatment. ;)
