Ed, get that TT out of your sock drawer and give it a go. I think you'll enjoy it. Really I do. This is NOT the usual Hula fave Gaia/Huntsman type juice.
Let's see, I have 14 other samples I'm supposed to try as well. Should I move TT to the front?

Morning Army

We were woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of our AC compressor arching and sparking. Got to call the electrician this morning. Fortunately, our neighbor's nephew knows his business around AC's - he's done some work for us and always does a good job at a reasonable price.

Good Olympics so far. I've kind of lost interest in the Olympics the last 20 years or so. Too many tear jerker, rags to riches stories between events ruined it for me. But it looks like they are laying off of those this year. I care about the events and competition not the stories.

Good morning Army!

Retic, I don't know how you've stood it without A/C. Glad BK got you fixed up. Today the real feel is gonna be 116, and tomorrow 118. Then they say we will have a cool spell come in. I am READY for that. I just hope my a/c in the house, and vehicle make it. My clutch is going out in my vehicle, and I have to get it in the shop. It is always something. My truck is 15 years old, and I hope to keep it running longer. The shop told me they have been covered up with a/c jobs. This heat is making vehicle a/c go down hard. I have been having to bump up the thermostat in the house in the afternoon, and evening to 82. That is rough for me. 79-80 is bad enough. I prefer lower, but afraid it will burn this old a/c unit out completely. Fall can't get here quick enough for me.

If you can at least get the humidity out of the indoor air that helps a lot. And the very best thing you can do to lengthen the life of your AC is to clean the condenser coils. Dirty condenser coils make your AC run more...and a lot more if those coils are really mucked up. It's any easy job. Look at some You Tube vids. You can get the cleaner online or at Home Depot. Do you know the last time they have been cleaned?

Bronze, thanks for the tip. It has been 4 years or so since it was last serviced. The unit is 16 years old. I will go to Home Depot or Lowe's. What is the best cleaner you recommend?

The real feel is 116 right now. It is hotter than a firecracker, I'll say that much.

One thing good about Thailand (or at least this part of Thailand) is that the temps rarely get over 90˚. The humidity is the killer, though. Right now it's 84˚F with humidity at 74% at 2:30 AM. Their expecting 93˚ on Monday with chance of rain so humidity will be up temps will actually go down as it's raining.

KK, I used a product called Nu-Brite made by New Calgon. I think it's basically lye. I bought it off Amazon or E-Bay. It's a concentrate you mix in a tank sprayer. I bought the gallon size and used about a quart for both my ACs (upstairs and downstairs). It's good stuff to be sure. If you don't have a tank sprayer you will probably want the cleaner in a spray can that you can buy at HD or Lowes. The cleaner needs a little pressure spray to get between the coils. The You Tube videos should help you a lot. I think some of them even recommend the cleaner they bought at HD/Lowes.
