Good morning Army.

Hubby and kids are on board with my hair brained scheme.

Son said they usually order from Amazon but they will wait and do it the old fashioned way....

I guess that means I'm old... Brat! :grr:

Talked with my daughter last night and she's been smoke free for 3 weeks. She's giving vaping another shot. Found out the two oldest grands are vaping. Better that than smoking as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully just a phase and when they tire of it, should be easy to just stop.

Time will tell.

Good Hey.. how did Urlacher do at the vets?
Hope you have a beautiful and safe day as well!

He did better than expected. The aides were young women, no problem there. I don't think he cared for the Vet, but treats and covering his eyes helped.

So omg I'm laughing so hard my sides hurt!

I was watching "farmhouse rules" on Food Network when my husband woke up, which is a cooking show. His commentary is killing me!

So first she was talking about going to a cemetery when she was younger and first starting out catering to cut flowers off a flowering tree there, because she couldn't afford to buy flowers.

So my husband started making cracks about how if he had a cooking show that would be what he would teach people, how to steal flowers from a cemetery (sarcastically of course)

Then she started making cornbread, and it had not one thing to do with cornbread (she put brown sugar in it! For starters) so he is all covering my eyes saying "Don't watch! Don't listen to her she will give you bad habits!"

Then she starts talking about going square dancing with her DL, and hubby starts talking about how her husband dances with her because he's scared not to!

And in continuing he is just so funny I'm dying! Finally switched to the news because I can't laugh like this anymore.. and guess what? The sarcasm continues! Hahaha

why is it?..... that if one tells a joke/story twice in 6 months the better half will quickly remind you that they heard it before and wishes you dont retell the story/joke.... but if you tell them that you love them 2X a day it still isnt enuf??? ;)

Can't ever be said enough.

Also it should be said how much you appreciate the other. :)
And don't sweat the little stuff. God help us...we all have flaws and idiosyncrasies. Let it go. Right? Think of the flaws we put up with our pets. They raid the garbage, they jump on counters, crap/barf/pee on the floor, bring their kill home to show us, they smell, leave fleas all over the bed, cost thousands to feed and medicate, etc. and yet we put up with them better than we do some of our family, friends, and neighbors. Doesn't make sense. Right? :)

Good evening..
Cleared to go back to work on Sunday. Should be interesting.. no truck as it's getting repaired so I'll need a loaner. No tools as they in my truck, and no equipment as it's all in my truck. Most definitely I'll have a full route since I'm the lead and fiber tech. Love my job.
Comcastic..

Got some sad news tonight. My favorite Aunt (Aunt Ida) is in the ICU with pneumonia and a very poor prognosis. She's in the Daytona area, i went to spend the 4th of July with her a few years ago and I'm grateful I did. Her Alzheimer's has progressed rapidly so I'm just praying she doesn't suffer and my mom holds up ok. She's quite inconsolable right now.

So if anyone wants to throw a kind thought or a prayer up to the big guy, well.. that'd be nice. We'll see how this weekend goes, i can't there till the 18th which will probably be a week too late.
