We all love our critters, so I will post this link. You can sign up to have email alerts sent to you anytime they get pet food recalls, right now there are a number of them for having too much vitamin D. Apologies if posting this is not allowed, feel free to delete or modify if necessary.

Of course we love our fur babies.
Even if my pup hates the world, I still love him.

needed to pop into Winbloze for some work info.... and Wala!!! Winbloze had an update waiting for me... rearranged all of my icons on the home page, the update turned on Cortana and ALL of it capacities to glean my info... only thing that caught my attention was as I turned off the puter it asked me if I wanted cortana to turn on my camera... White Turkey Feathers?? I exited out of the shut down and went into settings and turned off all I could on Cortana... its amazing as to how much access can be given to the puter by allowing Cortana to be on...

I cant believe that people would actually use Cortana as it has been designed...

    watch this...

You have Winbloze 10 Pro , you need to go in to the settings and defer the updates .

Southern winds came in yesterday, pulling moisture in from the Gulf again. Still windy today. (not as bad right now) Next potential for severe weather with just about anything from high wind, hail, flooding and the works. The river still has not gone back to normal. At least I turned off the heat today. I could wear shorts today even, if I felt like it. It isn't going to last, so why bother.

Vegas is getting a nice drenching rain. But we need it. You sure don’t.

And who/how was it decided that some months had 28 days while others have 30 or 31? And who named the months and how did they come up with their names?
Aha. I can answer one of them - Most of the months were named by Romans for Gods, Festivals and Emperors (Janus - January, Mars - March July - Julius Caesar August - Augustus (first emperor) and so on...but the days of the week derive from the Vikings.. Tyr's Day, Woden's Day Thor's Day, Freya's day.

Sun-day M(o)onday and Satur(ns) Day are from the Greek.

What were they named before the Romans? A cured kipper if you get the right answer.

Good morning.. We made the long drive to WV and back with no troubles. 4 people in a Honda Accord is too many tho, we had stuff poked in every nook and cranny. My youngest son is a good driver, I could actually close my eyes for a bit with him behind the wheel. The oldest, not so much..

Layoffs are happening on DH's job. He's safe so far, but they can definitely lie to you right up until the day they don't need you.. I'm pretty confident he won't get a layoff tho. He's coming home for a week or 2 at Christmas.

Kids have 1 more full week of college, then I'm back to cooking and cleaning for 4..:( I kinda like the peace and quiet during the week right now. The boys have jobs lined up tho, and our bonus kid is going to put in apps this weekend.. She has her CNA from vo-tech.

DH found out there is a small ski resort really close to him. We've never done it, but plan to try in Jan or Feb when I visit him again.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
