Here’s your head-shaking moment for the day. All the craze of fear-mongering around juul has had far reaching effects. Polls show the majority of adults think vaping is as bad or worse than smoking. People actually believe that nicotine is a toxic, harmful substance. But this exchange really takes the cake.

It leaves you speechless.

Evening....Just got home.... Was back to the yard and ready to leave after 9pm. And my S10 wouldn't start. Was cranking just fine but refused to even try to fire. So had to call my sister to pick me up and she called AAA for a truck to take mine to a shop. I'm going to use her car while mine is getting fixed. It was running and starting fine before work. I'm thinking the fuel pump may have quit or a bad sensor. I'll fine out what it's going to cost soon enough.

Love the picture, not your post though. Car trouble. Ugh. I hope the problem is whatever is cheapest and most straightforward David.

Any human owned by a black cat (as I am) will appreciate this. :)

I absolutely know he thinks like this.

Having gone thru the same thing this past year I can sympathize. Cranks n cranks n cranks but wont fire. You just sit there with your thumb up your can. Happened again a month ago. Went to Home Depot. Came back out and same thing. I'm like, you gotta be kidding! Let it sit awhile then it fired up. In a pinch you might be able to swap out relays. Not sure if or how to do it on your S10. On my Dodge I can take the relay for my AC and try it on the fuel pump. They are identical relays. Don't have to have the AC to start the thing but can use its relay to see if it fires up the fuel pump. Look in your S10 fuse box (under the dash or hood or wherever they put it) and check your fuse/relay for the fuel pump.

Good morning, Army!

The rain will start today, and I am trying to prepare for it as much as possible. Tomorrow is the day that will bring heavy rain, which is something we certainly do not need. It won't stop with us, just as the last storm brought tornadoes with it. This one brings warnings of flooding. Mike Morales has a channel that saw this would bring tons of rain, before we knew from the local forecasters. He often has Jim Lee come in as a guest on his show. It is an eye opener for sure.

Harvard Scientists Are Really Launching a Sun-Blocking Geoengineering Experiment
Harvard Scientists Are Really Launching a Sun-Blocking Geoengineering Experiment
A proposal to spray particles into the atmosphere to reflect sunlight and lower temperatures is actually getting the green light.

So now Harvard scientists are going to spray to cool the earth. Oddly enough I read stories that say the earth has been on a cooling trend. That makes perfect sense...NOT. So if it is cooling, blocking the sun rays will make it even colder. If you block or reflect the sun, that will effect humans, plants and animals. We live in some crazy times, I will say that much.

Not sure who's spinning stories about it getting cooler, the Icebergs in the Antarctica have been melting at a phenomenal rate getting worse every year, also ask the residents in Cali if it's getting hotter.
NASA for one. Some stories say it is getting warmer, some cooler. At this point it would seem they need to agree before tinkering. In fact, I'd rather they didn't mess with it period. California had no rain for the longest time. After the fires, they've had a lot of rain. When one area doesn't get rain, it shows up somewhere else on the map. We just don't get this kind of rain here in December, yet it is coming anyway. I came across this site today, very interesting. Weather Modification History · The most comprehensive Weather Modification and Geoengineering Timeline
The newspaper segment is particularly interesting. I saved one to post here. This article is from 1958.

Evening....Dollar General DC has kicked my tail this week. I forgot I had so many places that could hurt at the same time. The shop said there was no fuel pressure so the pump is shot. $1050..to do. Also checked the battery and it tested weak. Told them not to do the battery. It's an Interstate battery and I think it's only been in the truck for about 3 years. So I think I may have some warranty on it still. Hate the cost of the pump replacement but I'm not getting on the ground to drop the tank. Besides it could be worst...

$1050!! Holy crap!!! They quoted me $550 for my Dodge pickup and I thought that was ridiculous. That’s why I ended up doing it. Cant think why it would be so much. Even if they take the bed off.

I’d get a dealer quote over the phone to see if $1050 sounds legit. Or is that who quoted you?

No it's the shop I've used before. I'd say they are replacing the whole unit. Which isn't cheap. But most of it is labor I'm sure. Plus it's the only thing I have to drive so I need it fixed asap. If I had a weekend and good weather I'm sure I could do it. But I don't, it's not and I really don't want to...:)

I can understand that. I hate working on cars. And now I’m working on my neighbor’s lawn tractor. Blades don’t engage. He’s my charity case. I hate working on lawn tractors too. :)
