I think the ruling class may be coming for you.

if Kenner Code wasnt so inane I would have a goat or 2 for weed/grass control :)

I bought a Poulan for 350$ and it paid itself off on the first job and then it totally crappedout... runs for several minutes and dies, wont restart until it cools off completely.. ( and its not the spark plug ;) )

missed out on 3 runs today due to yard/house maintainence... cleaned off the roof, gutters, fixed 3 holes where the raccoons were trying to get in,straightened up the yard a tad...

seems code is on my .... for everything... and come to find out, the property behind and over one was bought for a song ( not even a song and a dance). Some Council member got the property for back due taxes ( something like 4K$) ended up putting a new house on it worth 200K ( now mind you, this is a 90K value area) and ever since the building started is when the code people got harsh... just odd...

Im betting they are thinking that since my home isnt in pristine condition ( its 68 yrs old, built in 1950)... they are going to use the "powers" to do what they can to "improve the selling price"... also, there are 2 other homes close by that are being "targeted" by code... but yet, there is a house several lots down that has been "condemnable" since 2005 ( Katrina damage never repaired) and code hasnt even bothered the owner. makes one go "hmmmmm".. o_O

other than that. its time for a Guinness... tastes better than a pain pill and lasts longer ;)

I've got several Stihl tools, and I like them. But I love my 12 year old Echo line trimmer. When it finally dies and goes to line trimmer heaven, I'll probably replace it with another Echo. I messed around with an Echo SRM-2620 at the store the other day, and that would be the one I think. Plenty of power, but not too heavy, and full commercial quality.

I love Honda motors, and I've love to have one of their 4-stroke line trimmers, but they are just too heavy for me. I've got about 2 acres that I have to trim (trees, fences, edging, ditches, etc.), so a heavy trimmer just wears me out. And I ain't getting any younger (or stronger or better looking, for that matter).

Well, Opinions are like ..., you know, Everybody's Got One !
Understand that everything on TV or Media is Fiction. Even the Evening News is handled my multiple people (Editors, Writers, etc) before the talking head on your screen reads it off a teleprompter.
As Fiction, MY OPINION is that Tom Hanks (Big), Ian McKellen (Magneto) and Jean Reno (Leon the Professional) actually formed an interesting base of characters to carry the storyline. That's right, E, STORY LINE.
Now if you want a more realistic story of the Church of Rome, maybe we could do a documentary about American Priests molesting little boys.
But as a work of fiction, The DaVinci Code is an interesting movie.

Oooh, I know just what you mean about fun, harmless fiction. Sounds like you would just love "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion."

Maybe. I'll look for it ...
EDIT : OK, I googled your reference. No, I don't think I would care for that.
And I don't see the relationship, either. I think you're being a little overly- sensitive.
But if you wish to be "Offended", that is popular these days.

Hiya friends! Just back from visiting J’s Parents in S Pasadena. Had a great, quick trip since we can’t be away from our elder cats for long. I learned how to make authentic white kimchi - also known as...

Baek-kimchi 백김치

It’s a non-spicy version where the cabbage stays crispy because you don’t salt the leaves. Fermented food is so good for your health! This version is refreshing & delicious. I observed, took notes and came home with the whole big jar! So it will be awhile before I get to try my hand at it. It takes several days to ferment, then you can refrigerate it. I think I’m gonna need a bigger fridge!

We also came back with a big bag of satsumas just picked this morning from the tree in the backyard. Wow! They don’t get any tastier. I found a recipe for satsuma marmalade. Which means I need to get some canning jars. See? There’s always some gear or gadget you need that you don’t have.

Fiction can be thought-provoking. The connection here is that it can also be used to harm people by demonizing them due religion or ethnicity. These days you can’t even look at someone funny on the road without fearing they will fly into road rage. So fiction that can incite hatred is more concerning.

Recent news: a woman in a shop “crop-dusted” then pulled a knife on someone who made a face at the stink. Weird times we live in.

That said, I will put on my moderator hat for a moment and say: Let’s all agree that we disagree sometimes and use our words in kindness. Please and thank you. :)

All I did was mention a movie that I enjoyed watching....
Who needs this crap.

We all do! :)

We give our opinions and we know not everyone will agree. We discuss. Argue a little. And we respect and like each other a lot.

We’re a family. ;)

Saw my grandsons today. On the way home I hear the weather report for later in the week. He said we are going to get several inches of rain, and some of it would be heavy. The weather manipulators are finally coming out and saying they are going to start messing with the weather. (They have been doing it for years.) They want to enforce Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030. They even sprayed here Thanksgiving day. Every day they have been spraying. They can't make up their mind if it is warming or cooling. After what happened in CA, you think more would realize what is going on. The numbers are growing, but not fast enough.

I would love to try it! I make kimchi on occasion, but I'm the only one that eats it so I have to be in the mood. I recently bought a jar of Bubbies pickles, so stinkin good, but yowza.. 7-8$ for the smallish jar.
Always something for the kitchen, totally agree. I asked for an air fryer for Christmas. Last year I got the vitamix and a food processor, lol!
