I have progressives that are sort of tri-focal. Half the time I don’t know where they are. I only like them for distance. Never could get used to having to tilt my head back all the time to see things up close. Besides, they never helped for reading tiny print! I see better without them for reading, close work and such. If not for the head tilting back, I might like them for computer work.

Maybe I just prefer a fuzzy world?

I got my new prescription last Thursday, and went straight to eye glass world. I ordered one regular & 1 bifocal. I am nearsighted, I got the regular pair that day. Without the Bifocals, to read I have to have my face about 8 inches from the page with out the glasses on. After having them for a few hours I think I am going to have to take them back, the bifocal is positioned too high, almost a 1/4" higher then my last pair was.

Ugh. It can be quite a process till they get it right, between having the prescription right and doing all the adjustments. Really a pain when they mess up the lenses though.

Bifocals can be tricky. I’ve had them for 25 years. Took a long time to get used to them. Can’t do without them now.

She will eventually grow into both. I am guessing somewhere in the vicinity of 70 lbs, which would make her a large female for the breed.

She's is a real beauty. Got a spark of trouble in her eyes now! She looks very happy. Here's hoping she can be a better girl to win over Mamaw...

Cant see yourself walking.

When I got these progressives, I really couldn't see myself walking. The whole world shifted into a slant like an old Batman episode.

The bifocals, are definitely higher on the lens, I have been messing with the nose feet a bit to try to get them to sit lower on my face, it seems to be helping. I don't think I can wait another 8 to 10 days for them to fix these. I think I just need to get used to these. I will go and talk to them though.

Evening... Have Beer and Pizza will be done before I finish this post. Made it to the 50s today and my load wasn't bad. So it's been a nice Friday.. Got a robo call from my ISP that a tech would be at the house between noon and three. Well I didn't call to tell them I was at work. Because I figured he could at least check my connection to the pole. Besides I hate most automated phone systems. Well he must have found something because I am back online. So I don't need to buy a modem just yet. But I will upgrade it anyway.. I've been looking at these three.

My strong recommendation is to stay away from Netgear if you can. There are lots of issues that get worse when they auto install firmware. They aren’t good right now. I just replaced an expensive Nighthawk for someone that was running hot and dropping access constantly. The Arris I installed for them is solid.

And... um... yeah... cats have no modesty whatsoever.

I was messing around on Amazon and masks kept popping up... so I clicked on the popup. took me to pages and pages of all the different masks for the Covid crap... went and clicked on the "you might like these too" bar... went to holloween masks and I bought one ... the Plauge Dr. Mask... the one that looks like a Ravens beak... so I did a bit of research on the mask and the reason they made them like that was because crows and ravens were eating on the dead bodies and not getting sick, so they figured that the shape of the beak was the clue to the inabilty to become sick... enter the raven beak shaped mask.

Man after my own heart! Must be my German ancestry, ‘cause mustard makes almost anything better. My nana used to make her own ‘kraut from cabbage she grew. It was the best ever! Then she decided it was too sharp and started rinsing it before serving it. I practically wept over the loss. I’d love to make my own but it makes the house too stinky. Too bad CA houses have no basements!
