We have three cold fronts coming in this week. Artic air just what we need.

The isp did increase the speed a tad during the day. But throttling from right after 6p or less, all the way to right after 7am. Too bad there is not more competition for them, that is all I can say. This is a major isp, not some rinky dink company. I am hoping they will increase capacity for all the people who are out of work, working from home, and chilling with Netflix folks.

Therein lies the problem. Lack of competition. I would love to see another ISP come into our neighborhood so I could tell my ISP to :censored:.

Yup, I know a guy who knows a guy whose brother in law said that he plays off Direct TV and Dish against each other every two years when his introductory rate goes up. Competition, the life blood of the consumer; monopoly [even a state regulated one], the elixir of everlasting life for the business and the choke hold of the consumer.

Hey Bronze, is Mr. Whiskers still being a very good boy, coming home every day to his new digs?:)
Yep. Comes home every day. Sometimes he’s out only a couple hours sometimes 12 hours but he comes back every day. I’m sure he’s glad he doesn’t have to deal with dogs.

Except for his markings Whiskey looks like Song! Same peak on his forehead. Ear shape and position. And especially his eyes.

He is beautiful!

After nearly 30 years working in tech and graphic design, it still has the power to thrill me sometimes.

The laptop I bought last year is a 2-in-1, meaning you can fold back the screen and go into tablet mode. That’s clunky at best. It’s cool to form a tent when I want to watch something though.

The thrilling part is that its touchscreen has some cool abilities when used with a pen stylus. I almost bought a Lenovo stylus to make sure it would work really well.

Instead I bought a Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus pen. Wow! Drawing right on the screen in Photoshop, my photo editing is way easier and better.

Using special brushes, I just drew a quick tree. Looks like a watercolor. I feel like I’m in kindergarten art class being all thrilled at what I can do because I drew a tree! :D

Sure. Then I grab my sleeping bag and the popcorn and...

Really it’s the same thing you can do with a tablet. Set it up in tent formation. If you close all the way, the keyboard is the back and the screen goes into tablet mode. The keyboard disables. But then you’re holding it and pressing down on keys with your hands. It won’t type like that but it’s awkward to hold because of it.

I bought a Lenova Yoga 6 (code name "Anna"). It folds to a tablet and a tent. I have been thinking of getting a Lenovo pen. I used an Acer but when I work these days of Covid-1984 it's battery life was short and carting it around was not an easy task, very heavy and with the charger it was a pain. Best Buy was my friend, the price was quite reasonable. The battery life is incredible, over ten hours and my max working time is is usually around four.
The only dislike is that the screen is very reflective and sometimes hard to see. I am looking for a anti-glare screen over lay but can't seem to find one that is made to fit a Yoga 6.

When you used your installation tool did the SS mesh bend and stay in place the way you wanted it to? I am still giving serious consideration to using that stuff to protect the radiator and condenser. I think I like it better than the roofing screen.

It sure did. It really could not have gone better. But it wasn't a difficult application, really. Just had to cut a piece to size.
