Bronze and I were talking about being Old. You jumped in with a young Tom Cruise.
I betting if the repair man is young, tall and lean, Hula pays close attention to his..... work ;)
Nah. Tom's never done it for me ... now THIS character as played by Russell Crowe... hubba hubba!!!

Horrible. Dark brown on the outside, pink and cold inside. My daughter might like a burger like that, but I don't.
Showed it to Mamaw, told she should go back to the frying pan.
Use the air fryer for fries or tater tots and use the skillet for the burgers . You can cook meat in the fryer but you have to turn the temperature way down to 250 -275 at most . I cook biscuits in mine , set at 250 , anymore and they come out like your burgers did . The air fryer is great at making things crispy like frozen egg rolls or fries without needing a pan full of grease , just gotta learn the right temperature to cook at . Look online first for suggestions .

Hell, I'd be happy to get ANY decent repairman in the house when I need one. Don't care what he or she looks like LOL

Ever put an ice cube in the cat’s water bowl?
I've had cats demand ice in the bowl during the summer, almost to the point of getting more excited about the sound of the ice cube trays than popping the top on a can of cat food. What does Mr. Whiskers think about chilled ice water?

He’ll smack it before he drinks it.

The late, great, Pete Moss was one that liked to play with them. He made a terrible mess if there was only a few cubes floating. If I fill the bowl to the point he was outnumbered, he just enjoyed his chilled water.

Pete was the same cat that forced the house rule that all toilet lids must be closed when you were done. Pete would get down in the toilet with both front legs trying to whack the black "bug" down in the bottom of the tank. My brother was staying with me for a while, and didn't like my rule about the toilet...at least until he needed to use the roll of TP that had been thoroughly soaked when Pete was trying to catch the bug.

My Buckley -- who is afraid of literally every new thing in his environment -- would probably be terrified of an ice cube floating in his water.

However, his water bowl must -- MUST, I say -- be emptied, wiped down and refilled with a full bottle of chilled water from the fridge, just before I go to bed at night. He bugs me for it, and then watches like a hawk as I perform this necessary ritual; whereupon he wiggles his ...., settles in and proceeds to drink for like 3 minutes straight. I swear, that cat is part camel . . .

My cats always try to drink from my glass. It got so bad I now have to use cups with lids all the time. They got really mad at me when I made the switch. Sasha will still even try to drink it even though there's a lid on it. If I'm feeling generous, I will put some water in an old glass for Kali, she thinks she's getting a treat that way.

    You’re a clever one! Bravo!

In this house Sasha is a large entitled naughty Rottweiler who likes to eat peacock poop. The mental image your story gave me has made the water I’m drinking right now taste funny. The curse of an overactive imagination.

Our Sasha is small and fairly timid. We got her from the shelter several years ago. Her original owner was an alzheimers patient who couldn't keep her. She had also been placed with another family with 2 large dogs and small children. It didn't work out so they brought her back to the shelter. Only declawed cat I have ever owned (original owner did it, not me) and never again! She finds other ways to mark her territory, but after being bounced around so much I didn't have the heart to return her. So, my carpet shampooer gets a workout. Other than that, she's a very sweet cat and my son adores her.

No water glass was safe around Song and she drank from it by dipping in her paw. You know — the paw she walked around in her litter box with. Ugh.
And that would've been Rudy. I miss that cat. He belonged to a friend of my dad who went into hospice for cancer and could no longer care for him, nobody else in his family wanted him. So, you know where he ended up, but he was an awesome cat. His full name was Rudimere J. Milkface. My dad's friend named him that because he would stick his face all the way in the cereal bowl and get milk all over his face every morning. My dad took in his Great Pyrenees, Maddy. Maddy was to be given a double cheeseburger from McDonald's every time someone went there. She would be dripping drool every time somebody came in with a McD's bag.

Rudy’s full name has to be one of the finest feline names I’ve ever heard! Love it. Sounds like he was a real character.

Sometimes I call Tigg “Barfy McBarfbarf” (for obvious reasons) but that’s not even in the same league as Rudy’s name. And I only call Tigg that to avoid using very foul language.
