Afternoon... I went to Urgent Care this morning... My toe next to the little one has a crack in it and a bone at the end of my foot is broken.. Recommended I go to an orthopedic doctor. Not going to happen. Anything they would recommend would mean taking off work and it's not that bad...
Then I went to Costco. Bought a Sony OLED 65A80CJ TV. It's been $2500 but is on sale for $2200 this week. Take $50 off for a gift card and 2% cash back, plus the $100 extended warranty included. That takes it down to about $2000 with a 5 year warranty. And I'm done waiting . Took me all afternoon to get the plasma down and the Sony mounted the way I wanted it. With a few tense moments when I thought things were going to go really bad.. But it's up and looks great.. I'll spend the next few weeks learning the OS and making some adjustments to the settings. For now I'm still using the Roku because I can't seem to load the AT&T TV Now app. If I can't load it I'll likely get a Nvidia Shield or Apple TV. I'm about done with Roku..

Or, in the short or long run…

    Stixx Mixx Natural Extracts

So the little note by the flavor that says "Use @ 4-8%" means that is a suggested flavoring range for mixing with my "base". The "base" being my pre-purchased nic solution concentrate mixed in with VG/PG to something like 3 mg/ml after mixing. Maybe a bit higher since I will be adding in the flavor last....

Yeah, pretty much. I sent you that e-liquid-recipes website link above. Use that to make your recipes. You input your desired final nic strength along with the concentrattion level of your nic solution and it does all the math for you. Basically your recipe will have three components. 1. Nic solution, 2. PG/VG, 3. Flavorings.

What is the concentration level of your nic solution? Should be stated in mg/ml.

    100 mg/ml

I went and checked out the recipe site and it gave me specific measures for the flavor, nic, and both dilutants. I went ahead and ordered some precision measurement devices from Wizard Labs and I think I am good to go. I ordered some Cornell & Diehl Virginian for my base flavor and I may mix up some extracts like Papa said to mix things up. Seems easy enough & there are lots of tobacco shops near me.

I will update you on my progress. Thank you for your patient direction, Excellency.

Yep, you may enjoy doing your own extracts. You can use Stixx Mix to get you by or give you some ideas as to what you like without going thru the fuss.

You can also add flavors to your nets. For example a percent or two of vanilla smooths out a net. Some flavors work better than others. Here is a popular flavor source.

Didn't make any changes to the Sony yesterday. I was tired.. I've made a couple of minor setting adjustments. Looks and sounds better. Still more to do which will take awhile.. Don't want to change something if I don't know what it does.. Who knew I'd have to setup the Roku to match the TV? Guess I have to check the apps I use as well.

Damn cat. I feed him his canned food at 7PM every night. On occasion I forget but he doesn’t. If I’m 4 minutes late he’s in my face acting all squirrely. You can set your watch by his dinner time. I’m gonna rename him Casio.

    Precious Whiskey!

Spounds like every cat I've ever had! :thumb:

Good Morning Everyone. David, I didn't spend anywhere near as much as you did (because I am cheap) for a Roku TV. Didn't know anything about setting it up to match anything, but my old eyes probably won't notice a difference anyways. If it were me and it's not, I think I'd be more worried about my foot than my TV. Walking repeatedly to compensate for an injury will eventually make something else hurt. Ankle, calf, knee, hip... I believe you should really consider getting that foot problem corrected.
Oldest stepson dropped in around suppertime. He got to eat Low Country Boil for the first time, really like the corn. Guess the spices did it for him.
No idea what I will get into today, but Mamaw is still on her first cup....

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)
