Afternoon... Started the day with a light rain. Enough to get the yard nice and wet. Which was good because I bought a 20lb bag of bug killer yard treatment and it works better if the yard is wet. I used the whole bag. Most of it in the back yard. The crickets were hopping for their lives.. I did haft of the front yard. For some reason it doesn't get a lot of bugs. Got a new switch for the ceiling fan. About $5.50. As Brett said easy fix. Better than paying around $100 for a new fan. Scruffy can go out now that the sun is out and the grass is dry. But now it's too hot for him...\

Evening..... Another day done... Been looking up how to cancel my old internet. You'd think it would be just a phone call right? You would be wrong. The first call that you will wait on hold. Reports are for up to 2 hours. Then you will get another number to call. Well I found the other number online. So I hope it saves some time..

Terrible news story here. Just a few blocks from us, on the main road through town, a man was found shot in his head while seated in the driver’s seat of a parked car. There was no weapon in the car, so it’s a homicide. So sad and so scary too.

These days it’s more than even the usual suspects. A recent road rage incident nearby was a man who shot and killed a pregnant woman — and she pulled her gun first! They were both in a road rage state. Too many angry, despairing people right now.
Almost forgot. I called the number I found to cancel my internet this morning. Was only on the phone for about 10 minutes and it was done... Still have one more bill to pay but that's to be expected...

Evening... Home in time to get the yard mowed.. Dispatch was going to send me out for something that would take 3 hours or more. Well I started early so I wasn't happy. And I let the manager know it. They decided I should go home instead.. They lose because I would have gone out for something that didn't take that long...
