Good Morning Army,
Starting my day with Pirates Booty and a cup of coffee. It's 17 this morning and I'm on the way to an umpires meeting. Like people play softball in this weather lol. Oh the things us old folk do for today's youth.
The best part is I'll be less than 15 miles from HHV so can stop and get some Oompa on the way home hehe

Happy Saturday everyone Stay warm if you can

Go ahead rub it in. Just dripped the last of my PB so I'll be dripping DF till my bottle of Sludge gets here Monday. Not going to get any steep time. I've been ordering lite but I have Serendipty and Legend so I'm good. See of you can get a hint on the new NETs.

Or maybe it just seems he does, since he sleeps while we are awake. He'd probably pop on more, but when he can, we are sleeping!

This is partially true… read on...

I think he takes lots of naps instead of doing it in one shot.. Never sleeps a full night. Instead of one 8-hour stint he does 4 twos. :)

This is also partially true… I do like my naps and take whatever time I can get to nod out for 10 - 15 minutes. Very relaxing and stress relieving. The art of taking naps started from getting into meditation, I just take it a step too far most of the time and can be asleep in a matter of seconds.

The short nights came about from doing graduate courses online from San Diego State U back in 2003 - 05 and working full time. I'd be up till 2, or 3 in the morning trying to finish homework or read up on the subject (Educational Technology). Thank god for the "meditation" naps. :D They come in handy. In one of my classes our group project partners were a gal from Corona, CA and a guy from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Fun trying to get those three time zones lined up. Yee Haw!

umm... NEVER HAPPEN ! But if I can stretch last 10ml of Legend and last 5ml of HT another week (doubtful) then I'll have one month steeped NET.com Black Cherry, Black Cavendish and Chris' Blend (30's each) to carry me through February. If I have to go early with the HHV, it'll probably be DF.

Sounds like you got it covered, Brett. :D

Wowzer, My gran had 1 frying pan - cast iron. It's al she needed for an entire lifetime, unlike today where they sell nasty coated stuff that comes off in your food and that you have to replace every few months. Ah, the bacon and sausages that she cooked in there. YUMMMM

My mom got one she got from Grandma that lasted, is still in use, a couple generations. We learned early how to take care of that one. Just hot water and a dish cloth - dry it off with a towel or on the stove again and coat with veggie oil or shortening. Definitely NO soap!

Everyone. Another one of those times where my good morning is right after my last post of the night. I hate not being able to sleep right. Snow for most of the day. Think I'll get the few things I need to do finished up early. Then lock myself inside for the weekend. Maybe a nap later.

I find I now get cramps if I sleep too long and not just in the legs. Wondering if I have potassium deficiency?

Good Morning Chak, evening to you.. You get caught up yet?
Morning Bridget, pretty much caught up thanks.

Chak how goes the day?

Morning Dave. Went pretty good today - played sports announcer with another American teacher till 10 AM. Then got asked to step down so the locals could have a few moments in the lime light. We had a long lunch with a couple of beers and went home at 2 PM. Neither of us wanted to stay for the free dinner (and free beer, and/or Thai herbal medicines made with rice whiskey and herbs). Been there, done that too many times.

Now relaxing at home with just one more beer and getting ready for the massage/therapy treatment - giving, not accepting this time (as usual).

Have a great day Army!

David, are sleep aids on your 'no,no' list for work? I take 1/4 of an ambien every night and it works great.

Edit: But, you aren't supposed to mix with alcohol, so with your nightly beers it's probably a no go.

They won't help. I have sleep apnea and use a CAPAP. Also have periodic limb movement disorder. I was taking 0.5mg of clonezepam for it when I got home from work so my body would have plenty of time to get it out of my system. But it's part of the valum group and I guess it's restricted. The first med I used for it made it worst. This one was working. So I haven't slept well all week. Last night I took one and went 5 hours without waking up. Even though I got up at 5:30 right now I feel better than I have all week. I'm going to explain this to the doctor when I take the letter from the sleep doctor saying I'm off them. Don't think it will help but I have to try. And I'm going to ask for a list of the guidelines. It's just sucks to go from feeling good to being tired again. I've learned how important good sleep is even if it's only 5 or 6 hours.

G'mornin' Army. Looks like everybody's off to a good start. Warm or locked in from the cold, rested, 15 minutes from the mother ship, loads of juice, ...

After my next cup of coffee, I need to get off my .... and get some things done around here - including researching/shopping for a new garage door opener. Bummer since I just replaced all the (crappy nylon!) gears a few years ago. I managed to get it to behave better (no longer opens/closes on its own), but one of the remotes is shot and the wall switch is on its last legs. It is tuckered out and just plain depressed from all the pressing situations over the years. BK was right.

I think I'll look into a supposedly quieter belt drive system. Maybe with one of those new-fangled combination outdoor switches. We'll see.
