I used to have a roommate that reminded me of Hammy from "Over the Hedge," and from what I gather you'd probably be very similar to her (HUGE heart but just ran around like a squirrel). Hey, wait a minute, squirrel....where do they live? Trees... so... Tree....live?... Dwell?...
How about Tree Dweller?

I actually got my first piercing at Leather Masters in San Jose! Got to see the original Gauntlet in SF, but after all the originals had left.
I haven't done any suspension yet, but it's something I'd like to try.

Thank you all! Of course the real winner will probably be my gf... she signed up here last night. Look for herbalderdash. She could use a little support.

We all know LK is "Top" Dog...

hahahahah...thats good...I never even thought of that. tell your GF to stop by here and say hi! We would be happy to lend some support. Even though there are not many of us we cover the gamut of issues someone may encounter...from allergies to PG and/or VG to just plain not being able to completely give up smoking. We all use all different kinds of hardware and it's ok to talk about that here. She doesn't have to limit herself to the SmokeStik. And if she has any problems with the SmokeStik itself have her call us on the phone. We are always happy to talk to someone and help them figure things out.

congrat Zak! hope the SmokeStik is what she was needing.

Acidspring13....that's a great question that unfortunately does not have a good answer. There is a reason SmokeStik doesn't do holiday sales.....this product makes the worst gift in the world. I guess a place to start would be to ask you.....what made you start vaping? Was it really just because you thought it would be better for you? Or did it also have something to do with the "cool" factor? Finding the right hardware that you have fun with?

If your fiance is a girly girl who likes pretty things then it's possible a SmokeStik or some other pretty device might help. If she is a real heavy smoker and you're on a budget you might want to look at some of the new eGo's out there...very pretty and classy looking. But honestly, if she fundamentaly just thinks the idea of vaping is stupid there probably isn't much you can do to change her mind. It's a very personal decision and everyone has to get there on their own. Maybe some of the other girlz here will have some different ideas?

Yeah, unless they've asked for something specific, it goes over about as well as an AA "Big Book."
Best advice is if she's just not into it;
do your thing, don't pressure her. As you go along, she'll probably notice how you don't smell like an ashtray anymore, you're feeling better and more energetic. I've learned a term "attraction rather than promotion."
In my case, I think either I pressured my GF, and the whole experience seems to have soured her a little.
Keep us updated on how it's going for the both of you!

I hope so too, she's got to fulfill her 5 post quota so it might be a bit. Like I said above, the way I've jumped in with both feet has kind of soured her. We'll see! Thank you all for your help and keeping me a little more sane throughout the last few days! :-*

Glad we have helped you. It's a pleasure. I basically bullied my Xhusband into giving up smoking for vaping. To his credit he did do it...but for him the only thing that made it possible was flavors. He was vaping some stuff I wouldn't even let him bring in the house it smelled so bad...LOL. That and the fact that he is the kind of person who likes to fiddle around with little parts and pieces. That helps a lot of us I know. When it gets really difficult is when someone just wants something that will magically replace the cigs....and as we all know it just doesn't work like that. Ecigs can be very frustrating and it takes some dedication and will power even with the best products. Stuff is just going to go wrong.

Zak...feel free to keep hanging around. Even if your GF doesn't go for the SmokeStik...we all use all kinds of other stuff too and would love to hear about what your using and how it works for you.

Wouldn't miss it for the world!! I'm a total tinker, this has become a hobby for me as well. Started out with the plain ol' Ego, old skool with the plastic pipe tip/tank. Got into carto's/tanks, my GF still uses an Ego Twist with carto/tank setups. My next step was the Smok Vmaxx until it broke, then I went with a Provari Mini. Bought a couple rebuildables; Z-Atty Pro and a real Cobra, then found the Kayfun not too long ago. That set up a craving for more SvoeMesto, so I bought a Semovar and another Kayfun. Just a few weeks ago, bought a Nimbus atty and a couple Phoenix V5's to play around with dripping. I've started playing with a Segelei 19, and have a couple other mech clones coming (forgot which one, but they were $17 ea, I couldn't pass it up!). My favorite juice is and has been Midas' Glacial Inferno (I'm a convert from cloves) but am really getting into some of the fruity flavors (latest one I really like is Pink Spot's Gummy Bear) and cola flavored stuff. Just picked up some RY8 as well. This is all in just about a year of vaping. I work at a machine shop doing the programming, and it's killing me that I can't do more to make my own or customize the stuff I have, but we're slammed and the machines we have here are a little too big for this kind of stuff. If SmokeStik wants to start a billet style box-mod, I'll be your guy!
Just figured I haven't given my life story yet, so there ya go! Hope your Friday is going fantastic!! Windy, we'll have to set up a Saturday meeting at Speedway one of these days. I'll be the one in turn 1 2 getting sprayed by the dirt and LOVING it!!

Not too far at all from me, my mom and soon-to-be ex-step-dad have a condo in that complex that butts against target. I'm at Glassel and Lincoln just above the circle.

I have the killer commute, my job is at Batavia and Collins, real close to Danny K's and the Vapor Loft.

The new condos? Those look really nice! I have a " could be worse" commute I gotta drop the baby in Costa mesa and then I work in huntington

Ughhhh, the 55...or do you use the 22? Then you'd have to deal with the 4 or 5.
I was thinking earlier about introducing LK and Tibs to Mongolian BBQ... You can't have been to speedway and not gone there...
