Ol' USAG (DOJ) Eric would be soooo proud of you!![]()
Too bad ya didn't state this first and then follow your own recommendation!
Sorry BL, had to keep it ^^^ all e-cig related...![]()
Big time disappointed in you here Iffy. To censor my post is one thing. To imply the I made false or misleading statements is something altogether different. If you are truly interested I will be glad to refer you to case studies the will support every statement that I made. Though I made mention of certain unmentionable substances, it was neither to support or condone the use of said substances.
honestly if i didnt know anything about e-cigs or vaping.. and i see you with viles of liquid that possibly looks like drugs.. i would question as well.. give it a rest guys.. he was doing his job.. its not like the entire world now knows about vaping..
you cant expect everyone to know about vaping.. let alone try to convince a LEO that your viles of liquid is not drugs to someone with virtually no knowledge of the e-cig world.
instead of trying convince the LEO it is vaping, let him ask his questions and educate them..
...At most he was mixing with 100 mg/ml, 10% nicotine by volume.
I don't think you should be drinking in a National Park, where it clearly is posted that it is NOT allowed...Especially because children were around
OTOH, the LEO was a bit rude. I am giving him some slack because it was Memorial Day, and I am sure he was extremely busy.
I may have misunderstood the OP. I assumed he was taking bottles of eliquid he had purchased from a vendor a reduced concentrations for use in the park. I assumed he was not using high-concentration nic juice to mix flavors and PG and VG into while he was in the park.
You know the sad thing is a Park Ranger should appreciate the fact that you aren't going to be starting forest fires by careless vaping.
Or get a shirt made with a picture of Smokey the bear that says: "Vaping can prevent forest fires".
It goes both ways. The Ranger was doing his job. Yes he most certainly did go over board. You have no complaint about the alcohol you new it was a rule and you willing broke it. You are not a victim there. I break rules all the time I think are silly but I also am willing to accept the consequences for breaking the rules if called on it.
You do not think what your doing is out of the norm but he must of. It was a unpleasant interaction and the Ranger could have taken a much better attitude. Im sorry both of you did not walk away feeling good about the interaction but it happens sometimes.
You did NOT misunderstand.
