My job site is an office building. They were actually pretty accommodating to smokers. They built a pretty nice smoking area with benches in a shaded area on the grounds. However, our Corporate office announced they are going to a completely tobacco-free policy in March, this includes no smoking anywhere on company property, including the parking lot/in our cars. Of course it also includes no vaping. :( Boooooo.
It won't be too bad, though, since I work from home almost half the month.

i go out with the smokers. just like i did when i smoked.

i sit in a pc lab all day with 4 other techs and a steady stream of people pounding on our door, to bypass lvl 1 / helpdesk and just come straight to us. if i could vape at my desk i would. actually, when i am the only one there, i will sneak a toke every once in a while.

i worked in restaurants for many years. the only way you got a break - even on 12-14 hour shifts, was to go smoke. now, i use it as an excuse to get away from the lab and get outside for a few minutes.

the added benefit is that i have gotten a few of the smokers interested in vaping also. a couple vape at home, yet still smoke at work. one does both ... so i don't have a total convert. yet.

I vape in my office when no ones in it with me, the other day my tech lead said something snarky to me he walked in I wasn't vaping I was playing with my android tablet he saw my provari on the desk and said "it smells like saw dust in here is something burning? what ever" he's an ex smoker and the worst kind of anti but he hardly ever comes in so until facilities tells me no I'm vaping

my end users do that too if you tell them to put in a ticket they start crying so I just fix their issue and do the ticket for them

Ever since I've started vaping a month ago, everyone @ my workplace have been curious abt it. One by one , they went aboard the vaping wagon. Now its a great sight that everyone in our room is vaping side by side... N those non capers will be mesmerized by the amount of smoke which is filled in the maintenance room.. its an Awesome sight! \m/

Hey Dude, We are all doing the same thing here but that's not the way to do it. You can use couple of minutes of your time to write even a real sentence about what you are vapeing at the time etc into other thread. Maybe you could upload an image of your PV to the picture thread. It's really not that difficult and somebody might even be interested about you, your opinions and so on. Sorry about OT and bad english :)

frontloco.jpginsideofengine.jpg My office.....my seat is on the right, the conductor sits on the left and if he doesn't like me vaping then get the hell off my engine :) but in reality everyone at work has been very receptive and supportive of my quitting, smokers really are the minority now and are made sure they know it too, glad i've joined the majority!!

Where I work at has a designated smoking area that is horrible to get to. They don't even allow you to smoke in your car in the parking lot. The nice thing is that they don't consider vaping to be smoking. It is in the official policy from corporate. So this policy does not apply to me. The only place I can't smoke is in the building and every place else is fair game . I have already converted 3 coworkers into vapers because they have seen my freedom with it.

I work construction so it's usually not an issue. I just get the everyday question from others, "Hey is that there one of them fake cigarettes?". And that's when it hits me why most people think construction, they also think trash.

Not to get off subject, but I've noticed most businesses have been incorporating preferred parking, next to the building, for low emission vehicles. I assume to encourage people. Why not incorporate preferred vaping areas inside work places, and keep the smokers outside.....for encouragement.....lol.

i just do it stealthy in my office. yesterday i was vaping some ry4 at work and some visitors were passing through and mentioned that it smelled great in here and thought we were making waffles. this morning i woke up to my gf vaping ry4 and i also noticed it smelled like waffles. before that i didnt know that it left behind any smell, i thought it quickly dissipated and left no trace.
