Immediately, it was crazy. I wasn't planning to quit it just happened.

I wanted to try vaping to cut down smoking while in front of the computer.

I've had to clean my computer fans and liquid cooler so much less since I did. It's kinda nice, I hate when my temps get way up there!

I actually quit after about 2.5 weeks, give or take a few days, but I could have quit after about 2 or 3 days, if I'd had more cartos. I got a cig-alike starter kit and didn't order anything extra because I didn't know how much I would like it. After a few days, having realized that one pack was lasting me more than one day & I enjoyed vaping more than smoking, I ordered more cartos. Then a few days later I finished my last two cigs, checked the mail & had more cartos, and haven't had a cig since then.

Took me some time and 2 tries to quit. First time I was off analogs within a few weeks and had no real issues but then my clearo started clogging up and I just wasn't getting what I needed. I still had a few packs of analogs in the house and before I knew it I was back on them full time. I went back to the brick and mortar and explained my issues and they upped my nicotine and that helped for a while but wasn't enough to get me back off of analogs. Finally figured out that the clearo was the issue got new clearos and a Vivi and was able to kick the analogs to the curb. I did have to make the decision to not buy any analogs and while I was very tempted for a time I finally got over that hump.

Been analog free now for 5 months and loving it. :)

TL;DR as has been said it is different for everyone. Just don't beat yourself up if you don't make your first goal but use it to reevaluate where you are and what you need to do to complete your ultimate goal. Best of luck!

I'm on day 5 of vaping and I had 5 cigs the first day, then 4, then 2, then 2.5 yesterday. This is from about 12 to 15 per day roll-your-owns, mostly smoked half at a time so it was about 25 times a day I lit up for the last little while.

This is the second day that I haven't had an analog first thing in the AM. I kind of can't believe I can do this. I'm not trying very hard yet, allowing myself an analog when I really want one. But aside from maybe one a day, they taste worse and worse each time. They feel worse. They smell worse.

I'm going to continue to play it by ear with the analogs while I continue trying new flavors etc. I am hoping within the next couple weeks I cut back even more, maybe even go a day or two with no analogs and see if I can hang. One of my main reasons for doing this now is that I am starting a new business soon and when I am spending all day every day there it will be difficult for me to get out of the building to smoke as often as I'll need to. So even if I still end up having an analog once or twice a day it's okay.

The best advice I have read here is to focus on the number of cigarettes you DON'T smoke thanks to vaping, not the ones you do. Several people have said things along those lines and I wish I could credit them but I don't remember offhand.

I bought a package that had two eGo-c, a larger tank and a replacement guts for the tank. Two weeks ago I bought all this and had 6 packs of analogs left. It took me a week of finishing off the analogs then went to full vaping. I did both for a week I ran out of analogs just before going to work last Tuesday night. I haven't looked back yet nor do I plan to. But I think I'm working off the cheap b*stard in me I spent the money for the analogs so I was going to finish them. Now I spent so much on the eGo and liquids I'm going to make it work. Good luck and take it at your own pace. You will be a winner.

    Here
I just got all my stuff today and I'm hoping I can quit by the end of the week. Did anyone else quit fairly easy?

Had my last analog on the way to meet my friend at my first B&M. I got my first set up and haven't had one since (LavaTube, tanks, batteries and juice). I honestly can't imagine smoking a cigarette again.

Since then I've been some what of an advocate. I've got my neighbors to quit and some of their friends.

I'm currently waiting for my new set up.... Provari mini. Should be here tomorrow.

I vaped on the blu's for about a week "in-between smokes" which took my analog intake to about half the norm. When I got my clearomizer, I had 3 analogs that entire day (my first vapes were a little harsh on the throat, couldn't chain-vape all day), and the next day I had one analog. all 4 of those analogs were extinguished before half done.. just didn't taste as good as vape. That made me happy :)

My sister was up and visiting over the weekend and sunday morning I had an analog with her, and it just sucked, tasted like crap, I put it out halfway and vaped. I'm done with analogs now- I like vaping better.. and the flavors!! so many! I like variety!

I quit the same day i got my e-cigs :)

its all down to preference... but i think the sooner you give up the analogs, the sooner you can detox all the rubbish from cigarettes out your system, and let your minds behavioural instinct forget about cigarettes and replace it with vaping.

1 Whole week without a cigarette for me now, and i can honestly say im not tempted to light a cigarette in anyway. Now that im enlightened to Vaping, i cant believe i ever continued with my dirty smelly smoking habit :)

    on a separate note....

At home I dont really have the support to quit smoking. I came across this forum by accident shortly after having received my E-Cig kit. If it wasn't for the support and inspiration of everybody on this forum going through the same thing, Im not sure if i would have been able to keep off the analogs. Its a fantastic community here from all over the world that have done wonders for vaping and helping Thousands of smokers quit. Im positive this forum has helped add years to many peoples lives, so a massive thanks to the creators and mods for maintaining such a top notch forum, and ofcourse a big thanks to the community for just being awesome :)
