How long after you started vaping did you quit smoking cigarettes?

Had my last smoke before I got on a plane at 2:30 pm, had an ecig to hold me over to destination. Got off the plane and found a store and bought an eGo and CE5. Never did have another analog, it's been however many days in my banner below. It's not even important enough to remember without looking. Easy Peasy for me and I smoked for 30+ years.

I actually quit a couple of weeks prior... I was on the verge of a relapse and was convincing myself that just a smoke or two on the commute was OK... Then I saw a box of Blu disposables... bought one, which lead to another... a couple of months later (yesterday) I picked up my first eGo kit. Not sure if I even have the urge to smoke again.

I quit smoking the day the 'right' set up for me arrived in the mail after an 11 month search trying every cigalike, pv, apv, mod and juice delivery device I could get my hands on.

I attribute the quick transition from smoke to vape to the previous experimentation with power and delivery devices and already knowing the pg/vg ratio / nic mg / flavors that worked for me.

I stopped smoking right off. Poof, just like that. I didn't expect to but for some reason...it worked.

Pretty much this for me. 2 weeks ago tomorrow I got 2 twists and 2 vivi's and some juice. I had a pack left that lasted me until last tuesday (from 1.5/2 packs a day). I used them up only because I had them. From then until Sunday I only had my G6 and the twists, but was around smokers so tried 2, they just were not the same, I could really taste the "gassiness" of them I guess.

In an emergency (bad charging and bottle selection choices in the morning) I bummed one on tuesday. Been making DAMN sure I got all my stuff charged and my bottles for topping off are full before I leave the house since then.

I bought my starter kit (Ego T, Vivi Novas) from Rock N Roll Vapor in Georgia in November last year. I put the kit away, because I wanted to stop smoking, but couldn't after 25 years. On January 1st, I told my wife, thats it, I'm using the ecigs. I had two packs of analog cigs on my desk that day, gave them away and I haven't looked back. So it is now April 10th, so I guess 100 days without an analog. Spent some dollars on the ecigs and trying everything, but I don't regret it. Health is much better, life if better. Thanks to the folks on this forum, lot of advice. This is my first post, and very pleased to be here!

I started vaping this past saturday and am still smoking a few analogs here and there and having a hard time giving them up completely. I think some of it is I didn't get a high enough level of nicotine but I have some stronger on order so i will go from there when that gets here. I have cut back on analogs a bunch and am hoping i get to the point soon where i dont want it anymore. Once this current pack is all gone I am not buying anymore. The more I am on this forum and the more information I am getting about vaping the more excited I am getting to get more involved with it.

Good Luck to you!!
