Took me 2 weeks. Gradually cutting down from 15 to 2 sticks within those 2 weeks. I've been analog free for 3 days now.

Good luck and stick with it. I'm on day 10 myself, and like you, I had cut down to 1 or 2 a day for a few days before finally giving them up. Days 5 and 6 were the hardest for me so far. The cravings weren't any worse really, I just kind of felt out of sorts for a couple of days. Since then I've been climbing back to normal and I almost never even think about analogs. Anyway, congrats and good luck.

When I got my first kit I started using the e-cig as a substitute for cigarettes I would smoke at any given point in the day, took about 5 days. The two hardest points for me were my morning cigarette and my after meal cigarette. I would have quit the second or third day if it weren't for those two.

You really have to want to quit. My girlfriend and I had just had our first child and only a year before that she lost her father to lung cancer. That really put things into perspective for me. I decided I couldn't possibly put my son through what my girlfriend had to endure. I had the best motivation anyone could ask for and now I've been smoke free for roughly 4 months. I feel amazing and have no desire to ever smoke again.

I've even been noticing that I use my vamo much less than ever before. I feel like if I wanted to I could quit vaping with no trouble.

Go with a stronger flavor like a Cinnamon that has a more noticable throat hit, and after a week you'll hate analogs

My first hit of Fireball convinced me to ditch the Green Smoke kit and get and eGO/clearomizer.

It took me about a week and a half and a pack and a half to ditch cancersticks.

I tried an ecig a couple years ago, your basic Blu style one. it just didnt give me enough throat hit. Now I have smoked 2 packs a day of full flavor cigs for 30 years, so I like a solid throat hit. A few months ago my wifes nephew, who works for the tobacco company who owns Blu turned me on to a Blu disposable. I was actually impressed. I had been looking into ecigs again just before this. I finally decided to give it a try again. I found a local shop after be disappointed by a few others. The owner was real cool, let me try a couple different models. Once I tried an eGo-t I was sold. Have not smoked a real cig since that moment. I had the cravings real bad for one. I would just use my egig and it would go away. You just have to use it. The habit to smoke is there. If you just use the ecig when you want a real one you will find that it works and quite quickly you will be used to using it and will find that you dont need a cigarette. Give it a solid effort and just use it. I smoked for 30 years, 2 packs a day. It worked for me. Hardest thing now is all the different flavors you have to chose from. I have my 5 favs that I use but it is endless to all the choices. My fav is Prime Vaping PV4. I cant get enough of it. Good luck.

I tried everything, patches, gum, chantix(which, I know doesn't work for some people and make them feel weird!) but, it helped me. I still smoked one here and there. My fiancé gave me a disposable e-cig and, that was the last analog (before the the e-cig) then I rapidly went from a disposable to an eGo 1100 and a 650 passthru. Then came the twist and spinner which died (all of them, mind you, on the same day!) back to disposables until I got some help from the greatest people I met online that helped me! My BD was in March and I got a ProVari mini from my fiancé! I couldn't believe that he saved up for that, for me! And I can't thank all of the people who have helped me and me fiancé in times of need! He is trying to quit analogs. Was doing superb, but fell off the wagon. I and the people who are helping me (who I can't thank enough) He does VAPE in the Apt. (No smoking in here....per ME!) and now he is Vaping a few eGo C twists! ❤❤❤:)thank you to all my friends who helped me! No excuse, but I am on SSI, in wheelchair, etc. SO...THANK YOU MY VAPING PALS! (Contests too!). :) They do work! :)

Took me about 3 attempts. Started with disposables and always ended up back on analogs. Got myself The Volt and haven't looked back in 12 days so far. Think im in love!

I bought a tsunami e-hookah and went from 20 cigs a day to about ten while waiting for the volt premium starter-kit to arrive. When it arrived, I was very careful to always have cigarettes on me however I went down to smoking 1-2 a day. And today didn't even think about it. So I still have a pack in my purse(and probably 5 lighters as well; old habits die hard) but there are 19 cigs left. It was bought Saturday.

I continued smoking for about two weeks after I got my cig-alike kit, while I waited for more cartos to arrive in the mail. If I'd ordered extra cartos in the beginning, I probably would have quit within a few days, if not the next day. You do have to sort of adjust to vaping because the draw is different, and different PG/VG ratios and nicotine levels work differently for everyone and you have to tweak things to figure out what works best for you.

I think the thing that helped me and my husband most was not going into vaping thinking, "I HAVE to like this and quit smoking!" We both started vaping thinking, "If I like this better than cigs, that's great. If not, that's ok, too," and just let the quitting happen naturally. After we found flavors we liked, we didn't even try to quit smoking, it just happened. I think I had one major craving after about a week of vaping, but I vaped some higher nicotine for about five minutes, the craving passed, and I haven't had any bad ones since then.

About 4 years....

I always used my PV as a supplement for hotels that didn't have smoking rooms and training meetings didn't actually quit smoking till 4/16/13 wife reminded me I promised I would quit about 10 years ago when we got together.

When I decided to quite it was instant though haven't had one since I decided I was PV only.
