1st week I had the joye 510, hated the constant charging business and was so whacked out by the learning curve I averaged 3 regular cigs (analogs) a day. By the second week I ordered a ProVape with some excellent Backwoods Brew and had learned enough of the basics to make me a much happier camper and no more need for analogs.
Been 3+ weeks analog free and LOVING every minute. Good luck on your journey...
Happy vaping

i havent bought a pack of cigs for 2 months, since day 1 of owning my eGo. i have bummed plenty of cigs from friends though, i still smoke 1 or 2 a day. i dont feel guilty about it . only 1 or 2 is NOTHING compared to 2 packs a day for 15 years. usually if im driving and cant fumble with dripping or whatever and someone else is smoking, then i grab one of theirs.

Welcome Maxy! You'll find lots of helpful folks here and they are so nice to share their wisdom since they've been vaping a lot longer than me! :)

I didn't mean to quit completely, but I did within 2 days. It was a choice for me. I felt I could do this since so many other people had before me. It's like their strength and courage helped me to strive for better. Does that make sense? It never dawned on me until this moment. I can tell you that as of this moment, I haven't smoked 1,614 analogs. That is 8 cartons and 3/4's of a pack. This past weekend, I destroyed my stash that I had in the freezer for the "just in case" times. I destroyed them as my choice. Now, I've made it even MORE difficult if I want an analog. I smelled them just to see what I thought about the smell. BLAH! Nasty! Then later that day, something happened and I thought....."You jerk! You destroyed your stash!" Then I told myself that it was MY choice! YEAH! :)

Hi Vap. E-Cigs aren't banned but the supply of nicotine is. So we can buy the hardware from a few online stores here in Oz maybe even some bricks and mortar stores but no nic juice. Allot of people get their hardware from health cabin (China) or heavens gifts (USA). I'm sure there are a ton of others but someone who knows more about it than me will be able to tell you more.

Sorry i couldn't be clearer.

You would think so wouldn't you!! But I guess they(Govt) don't get the $$$$ from smokes if they let people buy nic juice and vape. If they were serious about people giving up analogues they would make the prices of NRT's cheaper. A pack of ciggies here is around $20 for 40. I smoke almost a packet a day. I've actually gone to rollies but smoke 2 1/2 packs a week. It's a pain in the .... cause they make your fingers go yellow and you have to take the time to roll them.. I can't wait to give this away for good.

I got my eGo 10 days ago. I smoked my last cigarette at the post office. Seriously. I signed for delivery, opened the box in the car, took 1 drag and handed my pack of Parliament Lights to my husband. Take 'em. Get 'em away from me. I haven't looked back since. They smell nasty to me. Why would anyone want to smoke a cigarette when they can have delicious French Vanilla.... mmmm.... gotta go top off.

I find that at certain points in the day (most often mid day, around now for me) my PV wont vape as well and seems to deliver less nic. I find that once ive done a little maintaince and let it sit to reprime, its back in perfect working order.

Seems that when the atty looses contact to the battery from grit, and when the 510 cart air vent thingos get 'juicy' the vaping gets far worse.

though oddy enough, toward the evening, I find that my PV works great regardless of weather ive cleaned the cart or threads. Oddly enough Im also finding that a flatter battery for my ego produces better vapour then a fully charged one.

All these same types of stories are the reason I decided to give e-cigs a try and I'm so happy I did. I received my V4L Vapor King on a Thursday at noon time. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but after I figured it out I was in heaven. I didn't smoke a cig from the time I opened the package until about 2am that night after a night of drinking without touching an analog. I decided that I was going to smoke my goodbye analog, smoked half of it, tossed it and that was it. I threw the half pack I had in the trash and that next day I was vaping full time and haven't turned back since. I was a PAD smoker for 15 years btw.
