The other day I just made up my mind I wasn't gonna do it anymore, I had 1 ciggy left in the pack in case! I still got that one ciggy and am 4 days now. You are in control, you have the power, you do it when you're ready!

+1 to Calico

Cutting down to a couple of analogs a day is a huge step in the right direction. I say celebrate that achievement and let the rest come in its own time. You'll know when you are ready to let go of your pack for good. :)

I started vaping in feb. 40 yr smoker. smoked 2+ packs a day. my goal was to cut back to 1 pack a day, because of the money and so places like the airport would be easier to deal with. within 2 months I was surprised to find myself smoking 2 cigs a day! and that is where I still am and I am very happy. I surpassed my goal. I will likely always smoke 2 cigs a day, they are my right before bed treat. I don't drink much and I'm always on a diet so I deserve something! I'm old and really don't have any desire to live to be 100

I got rid of my morning cig by making myself wait. I used to smoke as soon as I got up and brushed my teeth. when I started vaping I made myself wait 10 min, then 20, then 40, suddenly it was 1 in the afternoon before I had my first cig. same routine in the car.

I quit smoking commpletely last year using my e-cig then picked the analogs back up about 8 months ago. I really don't know why. :(

I just got back to dedicated vaping this week and have cut myself down from 2-1/2 packs a day to less than 1. I'm hoping by Sunday to be completely free fo them again. I have a new 6V mod coming and keeping my fingers cross that arrives by Saturday!

If you smoke menthols you might want to try non-menthols. It makes a world of difference for me :) And for cryin' out loud if you aren't vaping 36 mg you are wasting your time and money!

I had been a three-packs-per-day smoker, running through two cartons, more or less, per week.

Before I picked up my eGo starter kit and juices (from Liberty Flights) at the post office last February, I had made my every-three-weeks run from Cook County to Lake County to buy six cartons of smokes. The tax differential between Cook and Lake Counties made the trek worthwhile.

From that February cigs trek, I still have three cartons and seven packs left. Do the math: I've only been smoking a few per day. But I'm going to smoke them all; after all, I invested in them!

But I do have to remember to smoke a few per day. Hmm . . . I think I forgot to have one with my morning coffee. Maybe I'll smoke one this afternoon with my afternoon coffee. Or maybe not.
