$130 for a V4L Vapor King Ultimate Manual Kit, 4 30ml bottles of juice, and 2 5-packs of blank cartos... plus the pre-filled cartos that come with the starter kit and whatever extras are thrown in. I did a LOT of lurking here, and I think I got a decent deal on a good product. It'll be here early next week. I can't wait to get off analogs and start vaping! I'll post more next week with my first vaping experience...

Close to $800 for me and the wifey before I started ordering from china and mixing my own juices. Trying every possible atomizer/cartomizer in many different ohms to see what all the different variables were with vaping. Fixed all that with the Provari, as I found it was the voltage for each individual model that was more important then the manufacturer. I can vape all of the ones I bought at the very beginning now and make them taste great. Didn't have that option at the start because I didnt have a real VV unit so had to keep testing.

Flavors were a huge expense also as we started because we had to try so many different vendors. When we started mixing our own, price went through the floor to around 6 cents a ML. Then I was able to save a TON. Now if we do not like a flavor, we just dump 10ml in the trash, no reason to even mix small bottles to test anymore.

I started out with a bad ecig (No.7 with the PCC). The PCC was good and well thought out but the ecig was crappy (low vapor and BAD taste. Cost me $100. Then I bought a 510 kit for $50. I spent more for all the different juices I wanted to try not knowing what I would like. Lucky for me I started with 10ml bottles and liked all but 2 (I bought 10). I since have bought 30ml bottles of my favs and have five 30ml bottles. I have lost track of how much I have spent on juice. LOL

I then bought a USB passthru for $15 along with a car cigarette lighter USB adapter. Then I bought a 1000ma eGo battery for $25. Not bad and still left me ahead of what I would have spent on cigarettes (they are VERY expensive here in NY).

I since have bought a couple of MODS. The MonkeeBoxx for $110 and the Provari with an adapter for larger battery for $179. So I guess I am in the hole a bit but it wont be long before I am ahead again. I am all set for hardware now and have enuff juice to last a little while so things will settle down now.

The only thing I regret buying is that nasty No.7 Square. I wish I could get an adapter that would allow me to try the atomizers on the Provari. Maybe I could get them to perform better at higher voltage. I am not sure what the threads are similar to tho.....(they are coarse threads and male like a 510 but coarser than a 510)

I started (for real) in October, 2010, and I overdid the initial spending a tad through December. In January, I purchased a mod and haven't purchased anything since. I'm due to order some supplies for friends in the next couple days, but don't expect to purchase anything for myself until March, unless I come across a good sale on some of the juice I'm down to my last 30ml of. By the end of the year I believe I should have a good $2,000 extra.

Just started today. Got two batteries, a usb charger, and two 5 packs of tobacco shop samplers from v4l. Came out to $75 after 10% disc code. Very much enjoying vaping. Off to work at my bar in a few hours. 11 hour shift slinging drinks to drunks will be the true test. Brining along my analogs in case I'm craving, but if I'm not... order #2 will be placed in the morning.

In June- I spent 50, 40 for the JOYe510 starter and 10 on 3 10ml juices
In August- $190- 2 starter kits, 20 attys, 20 extra carts and lots of juice
In October- $100 for my CHUCK and batteries and a charger
In January- $150- DIY ingredients and flavors.

I don't regret spending any of it. I love vaping and will probably keep spending.

In the 6 months ive been vaping i have spent $932.85 on my supplies. (mods, juice, attys and the like) I first bought a joye 510 after a week i bought a SDMKII from totally wicked, then 2 chucks from Thagbuilt.com, and last a Provari from Provape.com Mixed with tons of attys and juice. I used to spend about 50 bucks a month on campfire in your mouths. So I have saved -632.85 and i feel great! and im "just getting started".

1st Month:
1 generic 'disposable e-cig' with 2 cartos at the gas station ($15)
2 KR808D-1 kits (5 batts / 2PT's) (about $250)
2 eGo kits and eGo PT (5 total eGo batts) (about $140)
2nd Month:
1 wetbox ($50)
2 Phidias box mods ($270)
1 Ali'i Box mod (About $150)
Juices from 9 different suppliers (Estimated $300)
countless carto's, carts, and atomizers; and multiple cases, batteries and DIY supplies. ($80)
Total: $1255
Oh my god, I'm a fiend... This is the first time I actually totaled everything I've purchased
I can justify no more orders, I'm done buying until I run out of juice Which should be a long long time considering I have about 800mL.

$486.35 in 20 days. I just added it up today and I was shocked. This is for 2 people quitting. combined, we spent roughly $450 a month in cigarettes so when I look at it that way, it's not that much more. It is, however, worth so much more.

I don't care about the money one bit, I would spend twice, three times that because the simple fact is ... I have not smoked a cigarette in 20 days!!! That has never happened in my 30 plus years of smoking. I don't even want a cigarette, the flavor and taste I get from my cherry carto is so amazing, I only want to try more flavors.

There are just so many options and so many differing opinions on what is best that I realized I was going to have to find what worked best for me. That means spending a little bit to try many different options. It also means I will have a crap-load of juice to trade/give away soon.

Now, if you will excuse me, there's a sale on e-juice somewhere, waiting for me to find it.

Peace, Love & Vaping Happy,
cleo

OK.. I'll bite for my first post. :)
Started two weeks ago with a cig-easy Super Traveler Kit - 2 KR808D-1 auto batteries, travel/charging case, 5 pre-filled Cartomizers, and 1 10ml bottle of 24ml Choc-Mint juice - 49.95
I also picked up a usb charger and wall adapter at the same time. Total with shipping - ~ 70.00
After the first week and deciding that this was going to work for me I placed a few more orders for DYI stuff.
10 more Cartomizers and a couple more 10ml juices from cig-easy ~30.00
An assortment of 15 flavors from One Stop DYI - ~25.00
12 10ml and 25 3ml dropper bottles + some pipettes from an eBay supplier for testing and mixing - ~15.00
VG from walmart ~4.00 - I mix 80/20 PG/VG - had a slight disagreement with the 100% PG :)
125ml 50mg unflavored nic juice from nicvape + 250ml PG for mixing - $35.90 (I've found 18mg to be the best for me - 24ml was a bit much)
Rich from nicvape also threw in a 10ml of 24mg "Jr Mint Daddy" that is EXCELLENT! (doesn't have it on his site yet but I'm watching for it if I can't figure it out on my own!)
So I figure I have enough supplies to make my own juice for 3-4 months for ~180.00 (I find I use the PV less than I did analogs)
So far in two weeks I've saved $100.00 on analogs so a couple more weeks will put me even. I loved smoking but decided to do this mostly due to cost savings, the health thing is just icing on the cake! :)

Hi everyone.....

Just ordered myself an ego set and 3 juices from Janty France.....hopefully all goes well and will be able to start vaping in a few days....
Total damaged = 100 euro
Convert that to SGD.....and its $178....compare that to $300 worth of analogs i spent per month....

Definitely worth it.....
