I purchased a KR808D-1 kit from Vape4Life ($125.00) .....came with 2 bats, 5 pre-filled carts, 5 blank carts, pass-thru, wall charger, USB charger, and car charger, PCC, and an E-cig case. Naturally, I then ordered several flavored juice samplers ($10.00) each, 4 more batts ($11.00 to $16.00 each)......more blank carts, more juice flavors from various companies (some good and some not so good). I think I've spent almost $300 so far and set for a while. Just ordered my last battery, cart, and juice. Should be okay for a while.

Wow, compared to some of you guys, I'm an El Cheapo! I just got my first supplies last Monday.

1st Order
EGO double kit
5 blank EGO tanks
About $45

2nd order
5 cartomizers from ValueVapor
$11

3rd Order
2 syringes
4 5ml bottles various flavors
2 EGO tank atomizers & cones
About $42

4th Order (yesterday)
4 10ml bottles from FSUSA
about $24

Total in one week = $122

However, I'm set for about a month at least, and at roughly $55/carton for V. Slims 120's, I figure I've already saved $98! (or will have in a couple of weeks)

I am going to get another USB charger, and I think a PCC. But in another month or so. What else I come up with has yet to be revealed. I'm too damn happy with my EGO to go into all kinds of mods!

Oh my, I don't want to think about this...

Start-up: $75 for my ego and some yucky juice

Then I started buying juice.... I've got over $300 into juice, but I've also got about 600mL on-hand. It'll take me ages to go through all of it...I'm still chasing my all-day flavor. Problem is, the 30mL bottles are just such a good deal, can't resist.

I've also got another $40 into spare atties and an aluminum drip tip.

So overall, after about 2 months of serious vaping and some insane juice buying, I've got about $450 into it. I've not spent $150 on smokes, though...and man do I feel better.

As an aside, the classifieds on this forum are a great way to try out some new juices and meet some cool people all just for the cost of shipping. I've been through 4 great trades so far and plan on doing many more...

$90 on mall kiosk "super cigarette" (read as super rip off!--looked it up and you can get them for $4 each for a case of a 1000 from china. can u guess who's making beaucoup money here?")
$17 on eliquid from wordupecig.com
then lasted two and ahalf weeks before the atomizer crapped out.
one week later after smoking analogs and then coming down with a vicious sinus infection....
$20 on npro duo at 7-11
$20 on eliquid at a smoke/head shop
$20 on another npro duo b/c the battery went out on the first 2 weeks later (at least I thought)
$20 on five pack of cartridges of npro duo b/c i burned up the first two
$20 on another bottle of crap eliquid from aforementioned smoke/head shop (this sinus infection messed with my planning and foresight lol)
$20 on a THIRD npro duo in an emergency b/c my second battery went dead and i didnt want to smoke analogs!
$70 on 60ml of assorted liquid from wordupecig and a passthrough with adapter for my cartos and a 5 pack of cartos
total = $300
and now i have 3 working batteries (i think they got a little juice in them but needed a little time to air out and they work fine)
three chargers (already had a wall and car usb adapter so now i am set in the car, near a socket and on the laptop)
9 cartomizers (ruined 2 and 2 still unopened)
and my 70$ order on its way.

I am good for another few weeks and maybe when i save up enough i will move up to the ego t and can save my duo stuff for emergencies or to convince friends to do the better way to smoke: vape!

love this thread and glad to be part of this community. thanks for all yall sharing...wouldnt be enjoying this as much without you.

My initial cost was $115 for 2 DSE901 starter kits, 2 PT's, and juice. About 4 months of vaping, I got a "Stick" for $25. Then a 5v ST and 5v Glv. I've kept my expenses down by buying at discounts, co-ops, etc.

Right now, I've laid out quite a bit for supplies, but it should last me 3 months if not more.

In the long run, I'm still saving $$ vs. cigs. Not to mention my health.

A couple hundred on Greensmoke (Yes, I was uninformed... but they did get me off analogs) and then a few weeks later, a couple hundred on my totally bad-... Prodigy V3.1 (with some extra Joye attys and a bunch of Boge cartos) and probably a hundred-plus on e-juice (so far).
Now that I have solid equipment, the savings from ditching analogs (health and monetary) will start to roll in.
Despite the initial costs, I am one happy vaper... and like Ruben said above, you can't put a price on your health.
