started smoking cigarettes when i was about 16. been a pack a day for the better part of the last 10 years.

i've found the e-cig really cuts down on how much i smoke. i already didn't like the way analogs taste or smell so this is great. my roommate is going to try quitting smoking on his b-day (mid-august) and that's the day i'm totally quitting analogs as well. i got him an e-cig when i got mine but i don't think he's been using it that much. i love it and think it's the way to go for me.

i also put in an order with Tasty Vapor tonight and am impressed so far. i made a note asking to let me know when it ships. within minutes of putting in the order (which was around 10:30pm) i had an email from him letting me know he'd get it mixed up tomorrow and have it sent out. i read a lot of positive reviews on here so i wasn't the least bit worried ordering from him in the first place.

50, smoked for 35 years. Glad to see so many people here at a younger age. I wish I would have quit before the inevitable effects set in ( high BP, shortness of breath, no stamina, lack of appetite, etc, etc). Kudos to you young whippersnappers...
Plenty of life left in ya Gary...many of those problems will dissappear now that youve kicked the death sticks!!! Hang in there, bro!!

Smoking since I was 13.
So 24 years, pack a day.

Just ordered my first VK starter kit.

24 year of PAD smoking comes out to 175,200 cigarettes.

When I did mine, it came out to around 225,000. It was what made me say it was time to quit.

bloody hell thats 7008 packs which equates to around $100000 (today's prices). That cant be right surely.

You are correct. This isn't right.

24 years @ PAD = 8,760 packs.

Based on what you calculated 7008 packs to be, that would be about $125,000

Kinda scary isn't it?

at 9.50 a pack which is the price today of a pack of cigarettes in NY (yes really if you can believe it!)and for me at 2 packs a day for 23 years which is 16790 its 159505 dollars!! Guess what...MY HOUSE only cost 85,000 LOL

That is so scary man. I wish they brought these things out 15 years ago. Also whats the bet they ban them soon. The tobacco companies will be losing out big time if this takes off (which it already is)

Ban Them?

Who wants to ban them? All they want to do is stop sales of them UNTIL the tobacco campanies can get the FDA to regulate it.

Then Big Tobacco can sell e-Cigs just like they do cigarettes. With Big Profits and Big Gov.Taxes.
