How old are you and how long did you smoke

I'm 44 now, smoked for over 27 years. Coming up on 2 years now completely smoke free! Congrats to all who were able to quit the actual cigarettes! I know for me, I can't even imagine going back now.
39 male started smoking in high school so about 22 years. Been off the darts for about 2 months and loving vaping!
60 yo male, smoked for 45 years on and off. No analogs since Feb of this year and loving it 
40 yrs old now, smoked first cigarette at 8 yrs old smoked regularly at 14 yrs old as in every day, quit smoking and started the vape life on 1/28/14.

just turned 58, I had been smoking for 42 years, about a pack a day. I have been vaping only for 3 weeks now and will never go back. They even smell terrible when I am around the smokers at work etc. I have no desire to go back!
Gonna be 39 in a few months, been smoking a pack a day since literally the day before my 18th birthday.. Went from Marlboro lights to reds to Camel lights to full strength, and then onto my beloved Bali Shag red for awhile.. Went to Pall Mall red 100s when I moved here 4 years ago cause everytime I found Bali at a 'tobacco shop' it was like a year old and crumbled in my hand.
Broke times call for some serious measures so a week and half ago I jumped on Green Smoke's $1 trial and grabbed their e-cig. Like an idiot, I couldnt wait for it to arrive so I bought a crappy $10 Blu at 7-11 and gave it to my roommate who thinks its 'tastes neat'. Stoked I thought I was only get 3 cartos with the Green Smoke but it turns out, theres 2 with the battery, AND they sent me 3 3 packs so Ive got about 15 packs of smokes worth. Started last wednesday the 9th, and havent had a cigarette in the last three days and surprisingly dont wanna kill my roommate yet.. Everytime Ive tried to quit before I turn into the Hulk by the end of the day and they usually go and buy me a pack just to calm me down and shut me up hahaha. The Green Smoke's pretty awesome actually, but they seem to be really pricey for what they are, and knowing me Im gonna get totally sucked into this vape thing.. Just waiting on my paycheck to get here monday and Im ordering me a Kanger EVOD kit if I can find one reasonably priced in the color I want. Turns out an old friend of mine now runs her own e-juice business out in El Paso, TX so looks like vaping was meant to be for me!
Glad I stumbled across this forum. A few of the guys I used to work with a few months ago were all vapers but unfortunately they are vapers of the 'hipster' type.. When I started asking about how much nicotine they used and how long it lasted, if it took care of everything smoking related, etc all I got back was a 'Oh I never smoked I just started vaping'.. At least I got 'experts' here that went through it all already!

I was about 1/2 to a pack a day smoker, put me in a car or let me get a drink and it went up to a pack. Without either of those I had myself weaned down to not having my first analog till almost 5pm. Which while I was very proud of wasn't helping me quit smoking cigarettes.

Welcome to the forums, I too tried a Blu "cig", vaping is a world of difference away. Best of luck and congrats in wanting to make a change.
