I'm always amazed when someone responds to posts at 5 am. I always expect that I'm the only person awake at that hour.

Don't know why people have to be that way
I'm just glad you're getting the adapter. It's real nice.
What heads are you using?
I'm using dual-coil cartos. So, each of the coils is about 3.2 ohms.

I have seen those before. I didn't get one because they are the size of an 18650 mod, 22.5mm diameter. If I am going to have something that big, I would like a 18xxx battery in it. I like the 14500 mods due to the smaller size.
Thanks for thinking about me. :)

Glad your adapter is on the way. Some business do not understand that if they treat customers wrong, they loose business not only from that customer, but everyone they tell.

I hadn't even noticed the size. Wow! I wonder why it's so big?

I saw a Provari in person at a B&M and was shocked at how small it is. With high quality stainless steel, I guess the body doesn't have to be so thick in order to get the job done.

Good afternoon! I was just over on the iStick site asking for feedback. I realized that it has a micro usb port and that it needs up to 1 amp for charging. I can still use my other chargers for now even though they're only .5 amp output, but never had a micro usb cable for anything. A thousand cables here and I didn't have the one to fit it. So Staples is about the closest store for that type of thing. I think I'll go over there and get one, not that I need one right this minute because I'm still on around 3/4 of power... sooner or later I'll need it so since I'm not at work today, I figured why not get it now.

A couple of people showed me some usb chargers that they own and they are real nice. The one I have my eyes on is this:

I've stocked up on nic. I've bought several mods. But, I still need to buy more IMR batteries and a spare charger.

It's just that when paranoia hits, I go for the things that might most be effected. Then there's no money left for batteries and chargers. There will always be batteries and chargers.

I've got to get out of vapocalypse mode and start enjoying the here and now!

I'm not really worried about vapocalypse. I can see some regulation of nic, but I don't see how they can regulate something without nic, like mods. It's just like pipes for the "other stuff", hard to regulate because there is nothing illegal in them. As for Nic, I have well over a liter of 100mg/ml. I am only vaping 18mg/ml right now, so I have years worth, more if I reduce my nic mg/ml. Of course I have tons of hardware also, I just looked and I have spent almost $3100 in the last year. I can also build my own mod if need be, which I did "Back in the Day" when the equipment sucked. I'm thinking of ordering a couple of boards from FT to build my own mod anyway, just to do it. So I'm not really worried about vapocalypse, But I'm just prepared for it anyway.

I really do have enough stuff. I have lots of mods and nic. The only thing that might possibly be more expensive down the line is pre-made atties, like 306, 510, and 901 atties. I don't expect any of it to actually be illegal, just taxed to death. So, I'm a little nervous about hurrying up to get better at building my own coils. That would make me feel more relaxed.

However, just in case (and mostly just for fun), I was thinking of trying to build a Nicostick. If I can do that, I might branch out and try building a larger version with an 18650 instead of a 14500. That way I'm working with a bigger box that might be able to fit a small carto-tank in it. Would be so cool!

And, who knows? I could even move up to VV!

However, I've never soldered anything before and am not very handy with anything. But, I love the ideas and the possibilities!

I'm really good at appreciating the ideas on paper. But, hands on? Not so sure.

So, I'm a little nervous about hurrying up to get better at building my own coils.

Most of the time I use "Pre-Made" coils from FT. Really cheap, and you can get them pre-wicked, or not. I have several hundred of different flavors. Less than $5 for 50, some were only a couple of bucks for 50, and lots of choices.

Very nice! So, you know you're covered if the SHTF!

I have a cute little hot pink flashlight that I would love to turn into a PV. Although the battery boxes seem like a better place to start. Lots of instructions laying around for those.

It all sounds so simple until I start reading warnings about what to watch out for and all the detail to pay attention to. But, I guess I'll just have to dive in at some point and see what happens. The parts for the basic box versions are cheap enough that I could afford to mess up a little and just call it a learning experience.

I was thinking of stocking up on those too, especially the NR-R-NR kind that would be a lot of trouble to make myself.

Just popping in real quick. I got busy the last couple of days and just trying to catch up. I'd like to chime in on the 'building', but I guess since my eyes got so bad, I just don't have the patients that I use to have. Vapocolypse? No, I think we'll be fine. :)
The USB charger is on it's way and I am really liking the glass evod. I hate to say it but I may have to get more of those coils because when I go back to all my singles, the flavor doesn't compare. That's what scares me because almost everything I own takes singles. One thing about those double coils... you can dry burn them without taking them all apart which is super easy and is definitely a lot less time consuming. :)
You know.. CS didn't get back to me yet on the Hybris. I just sent another email- pretty much saying that I refuse to send it back without knowing I will receive a new one. If they refuse, then I'll just chalk it up and settle with this one. Not too happy with the girl that's (supposedly) taking care of this.
Okay, done whining.

Well got my order from the classies of 15mm and 19mm IBTanked carto tanks, WoW I got more than I thought. :)
Put on a 19mm SS with the flared beauty ring, looks lots better than the 22mm (No pictures yet, too late). :(
No time to check out the 15mm tonight, but by the weekend. :D
I just LOVE Vapemail

Lots of pictures, please! Thank you.

I've only got the one IBTank. I'm amazed how much I like it.

The plain clear glass is so beautiful that I have a hard time imagining why anyone would want one of the colored/patterned tanks. I love the clean, beautiful lines. And, how glass sparkles compared to the cheap glass or metal tanks.

Simple, beautiful, elegant.

:toast::mail: It's Friday and I got Vapemail (well 2 in 1- electronics & vape). I'm excited. I have to scoot right now, but will post more later or over the 3 day weekend. Just a couple of minutes ago I received the USB charger and had to open it before I left. This thing looks like it's no joke! From the shipping package down to the packaging itself AND the charger itself looks like top of the line stuff!! Thanks for the heads up DH! This is cheaper in price because the original post had a higher amp rating that was overkill IMO. This has plenty of amperage for any of your small electronics (phones, Ipods, Hybris, iStick, etc.).:)
Burnie, those IB tanks are cool. I'll have to show you pics of the ones similar to that I vaped at least the first year of vaping for me.
Have a nice night Peoples! ;)

I must say IBT is my favorite tank. I have at least 40+ different tanks, most just collecting dust. I do also like the Big Daddy (XL) and Little Mama (standard) tanks, but not as well as the IBT. Before this buy I only had 2 IBT 22mm with standard tubes, now I also have 3 cap sets of 19mm and 3 standard tubes, 4 XL tubes, and 1 Halfling tube, and 2 cap sets of 15mm and 3 each of standard and XL tubes. I think I will be using IBT all the time from now on. :D When I get time I'll post up some pictures. :)

Yes, they look really nice! The tanks I was referring to were from Volcano which were always real pricey and PLASTIC. The ones you have are glass, right?
I haven't seen those in the past. I have those tanks stashed away and don't feel like getting them out right now but here's a quick look at what they are.
Cartomizer TubeTank
I have a bunch of them. Like I said, before learning about evods, etc... I always used them and always with 1.5 cartos.
I emailed Doris (at Focal) yesterday and I think they forgot about me. She just made up a label (after I asked if it was ever shipped) for the Vamo replacement yesterday and is waiting processing today.
I'm still thinking about sending the Hybris back, but I don't know if I want to bother because it still sounds contradictory. The last email was....
"If the unit is determined to be defective (a tilted screen would be considered a defect), then your shipping will be reimbursed."
I don't like the word IF in there. and they did see a picture of it already. What more do they want
The iStick is pretty awesome. It's just so easy to control and I really like that everything you need to know is on one screen.
I'll be in and out today, but when I get a chance I'll post a closeup of the new Charger.

I have a couple of the small Tube Tanks, they work fine. Would prefer not to have the words on the tube.

Sometimes you have to remind them, but Doris is good on taking care of problems.

Yea I don't like "IF", the picture should show the problem and let them make a decision on replacing it or not.

I just wish it reduced the voltage like it is supposed to do. Not having the step down circuit kills it for me. They do look nice.
