Afternoon, wrong time. After dark or before sunrise. use a red lens flashlight if you need light, they can't see red. The eaisest for you would be to dust the entrance hole with an insecticide dust labeled for wasps and yellow jackets, then they contact it coming in and out. Takes a few days but should work. Also once it gets cold the nest will die, except for the queen, which is a good time to dig up the old nest. I have the equipment to inject the soil and kill the nest in a matter of minutes, which is why I charge the big bucks.

No, I understand that they are really lethal in the daylight. That's when I got nailed with them in the first place. I went in at 6 am that morning and I meant they were still going in and out in the afternoon when I looked out the window. I will do that though. I have 'Sevin'. Do you think that would work and Does the dust kill the queen?
And speaking of gasoline. I will never pull that stunt again. When I got home today, the side of my house was taped off with CAUTION Tape (same side where the yellow jackets are) and I thought I was in trouble. I thought one of the neighbors smelled it and called the authorities but that wasn't the case. We started getting really high winds today and the Power company taped off my building because one of the power lines was arcking. So anyhow, I just now got my power back on. I hate when that happens. Gotta go and set some clocks and get things back to normal. Have a good night. Thanks for your help Burnie.

Explains why it vapes hot.

I assumed that it was running in Mean and was trying to find a setting to change it, but nope. I don't really have a problem with it. I sometimes like a warmer vape. If I'm not in the mood for warm, I just switch over to the other mods.

That should work, and will kill the queen also (if she contacts it or it is transferred by a worker).

Thanks again Burnie. I actually went ahead and used a very powerful Zep Wasp killer because I could not locate my Sevin. It looks like it did the job.

Aquavapor is sending my #2 back to me. She told me that 9 out of 10 screens are like that. Couldn't she have said that before I spent the 4 dollars shipping? I don't think it's fair, but what are you gonna do.

Still waiting for the Vamo replacement. Last time I checked, they were preparing for shipment (the 16th).

I decided to give the Watermelon juice another try this morning and strangely enough, no whiskey flavor. It is actually tasting pretty good now. Maybe just needed steeped a bit more.

Been quite in here this week. :(

My #1 that went for a swim when on vacation is still working great. :)

My #2 that I had to replace the + insulator is still working great also. :)

Been using some of my high Ω carto's and the Hybris fires them great. :)

:thumb: Yeah, it works nice with any resistance for me. :) That's good you're mods are working fine even with taking a beating. :D

Got my #2 back yesterday. (no go on the replacement).

One of the mini Air Flow Controllers is working great now. Not too loose and lost that tightness. The other one is still the same. Next time I boil some coils, I'm going to throw them in again. Don't know if the first boil helped the one or it was maybe a coincidence.

I ordered a Nautilus mini the other day and some replacement BVC's and it looks like they're out for delivery today. :p

Happy Belated DH!!

Burnie, I can't believe your #1 (the swimmer) is still working! That's pretty impressive.

Ordered me a new dripper today. A little big for the Hybris (22mm) but it looks nice, and only $22 with tracking from USA. :D
$19.70 (Ship from USA)1:1 Lancia Style Atomizer by Acesmok

That's a dripper? It has tanks. It looks like a Kayfun/Taifun type of thing.

Make sure to give us your review once you've tried it. And pictures!

IMRs, I'm so sorry about them not replacing your crooked-screened Hybris.

You boiled your AFC? You boil your coils? Instead of dry burning to clean, I assume?

I'm trying not to buy any clearo that can't be rebuilt. And, the Nautilus BVCs seem to be hard enough to rebuild that no way I could do it.

I hear they're a really great vape though.

Thank you, sir. I think I could blow out THAT many candles.

I'ld need a big sheet cake to be able to fit all my candles on. It would be a fire hazard. No, it wouldn't because half of them would have already burned out by the time the last of them were even lit!

I've thought of a trick to blow out that many candles. My tired old lungs can't do it. But, maybe vapor? Especially from dual-coils? I think that would do the trick.

 You're not that old. Yes I boil after dry burn. I put the AFC's in on a whim and it seemed to ease up the one. I tried my Nephews Nautilus months ago and loved it. I've always been wanting one.
I know it's probably hard to rebuild, but I'm really not into rebuilding much at this stage. I'm turning into a lazy Vaper.
Have a nice day! :)

Surprises me also. I thought it was a goner when it dropped in the swimming pool.

Yes it is a dripper, only one I have seen with a glass tank, which is not really a tank. With the bottom air flow if you put in too much juice it will leak. Not something I will use all the time. It will be for when I want a hard hit. I am going to set it up with dual coil's and rayon. There will be Pictures.

 You're not that old.

Actually, when I think of my age nowadays (58), I don't feel nearly as old as I used to. Isn't that strange?

When I was 30, I felt 80 because I was so malnourished and had just gone through a divorce. By the time I hit 40, I felt young again. Then, when I hit 50, I felt old just because of the number. But, now that I'm approaching 60, I'm starting to feel young again.

I think the next wave of feeling old will probably hit when I'm 70.

Burnie, I've been meaning to ask you about the Sophia in your sig. How hard is it to build on?

I've been wanting to try one out so I don't have to depend on cartos for my tanks. But, I'm not very good at building coils yet.

Most of the time I don't build coils either, I'm lazy (plus not very good at it), I buy 50 packs from FastTech. I put a pack or 2 in every order I make, preparing for the vapocupolus. I have 2 packs of 50 on the way currently, both with silica wick. I also have a couple of packs that are wickless so I can use cotton or rayon wick. All I am getting at the moment are NR-R-NR coils, which is what you need for the ΣΟΦΙΑ. I only have 1 ΣΟΦΙΑ so far, and just use it as a dripper, because it is so nice and if I used it all the time I would have to get more of them, and I have 130+ carto's at the moment I need to go through first.

Here are a few to look at, they have different Ω ones also. Hassle Free and Cheap.
$3.30 Pre-Coiled Welded Wires w/ Wicks - NR-R-NR (50-Pack) 50-pack - 33 AWG / 2.4ohm / 1-wick
$3.30 Pre-Coiled Welded Wires w/ Wicks - NR-R-NR (50-Pack) 50-pack - 34 AWG / 2.5ohm / 1-wick
$2.16 Pre-Coiled Welded Wires - NR-R-NR (50-Pack) 50-pack - 33 AWG / 2.4ohm / 32*32mm
$2.16 Pre-Coiled Welded Wires - NR-R-NR (50-Pack) 50-pack - 33 AWG / 2.4ohm / 32*32mm

I've seen those pre-made coils before and sort of past them up. Wasn't sure how you would feed the rayon through, since they were already wound. What do you use to feed the rayon inside the coil?

I started using the Nautilus yesterday and like everything else, it's like relearning all over again (tweaks, power, air control, etc..), but once I got it jump started, it started vaping quite fine. I'm using it on both the iSitick & Segelei with no problems today.
Initially, it had a foul plastic flavor until it was fully saturated. I guess the so called instruction booklet was way off, because it tells you, it can be used within 2 minutes from the time it was filled. Not in my case. I had to wait a bit longer then all was well.

Well from all I have seen, read, done, you ALWAYS feed the rayon in after the coil is built (same as cotton), got to hear the squeak with rayon. :)
This thread helped on understanding Rayon (long thread), but a lot of information.

Interesting.. When I learned to make micro coils for the evods early this year, I followed a youtuber that wound the coil onto the cotton and followed that process.
Anyhow, thanks. I'll check that out. :)
