Filled up some tanks this morning. :D
I like to let them set for a while to make sure they are saturated well so they don't burn.

Guess how I can tell you're a guy?

Wait a minute. Are all of those the same flavor?

DH, I stumbled across your post about the adapter in the Eleaf thread. Did he send you a generic one??

Yes, they did.

But, drysprocket was nice enough to offer to send his since he doesn't use it. It should be here in a day or two.

Yeah, I read on and saw that he did offer you one. That is really nice of him!! Nice Birthday gift. I will be sure and give bad feedback on ebay.

Haaaa, I noticed all of the same flavor too. I just figured he must've stumbled across some really good juice.

Yes, 99% of the time I vape just one juice. My DIY NET, 60/40 18mg/ml. I am only at 10% on the flavor, which I extracted from Virginia Flue cured tobacco. When I smoked, it was one brand/flavor, I am the same with vaping. Every now and again I will put something in a dripper, but that only lasts a couple of fills, then I'm back to my ADV.

It's interesting how people react to quitting smoking. I always smoked Kools and to this day I can't do menthol. Every once in a while, I'll put a couple of drops of menthol in with a fruit flavor, but still can't do it for more than a day. I'll do the same with the Spearmint that I have, but since it has the menthol flavor in it, can't do it for more than a day. Most of the people that I know still smoke. Some of them do both, but as I watch them, they tend to smoke more than vape.
The day that I picked up vaping was the last time I could even look at a cigarette. Sure wish everyone did that. I had to tell a guy at work that it really bothered me and at first, he thought I was just being 'smart'. I thought I'd never say this but it just turns me off in a big way. don't smoke.gif

I was originally a menthol smoker. I had stopped smoking menthol to save money.

I always preferred menthol, always. But, when menthols weren't on sale and I had to smoke something else, it was unbearable. I hated it. However, I discovered that if I got used to the non-menthols and smoked them exclusively, they basically did the job and were no longer unbearable. I could always smoke menthol if I had to because the other wasn't on sale. But, not vice versa.

So, I forced myself to be a non-menthol smoker to save money.

If I was still smoking menthol when I started vaping, I would have missed cigarettes a lot more. As it was, it wasn't much of a loss. Vaping replaced smoking just fine since I was no longer getting that refreshing feeling from menthol anyway.

I can vape light menthol, and there's ONE peppermint that was good. But, I prefer to use those flavors on cig-alikes for some reason.

I've found that I really prefer to vape sweet coffee flavors. Who would have guessed? If my brother hadn't bought Caramel Macchiato in his first batch of flavors when we started, I never would have discovered my ADV! It was Caramel Macchiato for the first year, until I got sick of it. It's been Tiramisu ever since.

In the meantime, I bought tons of flavorings to try and don't like much of anything else so far. But, still experimenting just the same.

I never did develop an aversion to cigarettes after starting to vape. I don't know if I would hate the taste or not. I refuse to find out. What if I like it? That wouldn't be good. I don't mind the smell all that much. It just smells like something is burning.

ETA: IMRs, I did go ahead and send a message to VapeNW on ebay telling them that I was giving them one more chance to send me the adapter that I paid for.

It really does fascinate me how the mind can change the things we do and vice versa, Your story is very interesting DH.

I found it strange that you had to pay more for menthol though. I never had that problem. Maybe it's the location (city or state)?

DH, let me know what he says because I still didn't give feedback. I've also recently been noticing that certain people received an iStick without the box. Some of them came in a chintzy paper container. Mine seemed to have everything but the cord. The box is identical to an ipod box (heavy duty, white, and has all the happy UPC stickers to go with it.

ETA?? Well, I'm still trying to get a grasp on internet slang. I don't text so that doesn't help and I do pick up on most obvious abbreviations but I did have to look this one up because I'm still pretty old school and this is actually Estimated Time of Arrival.
ETA= Edited to Add. Am I correct? If so , that was my lesson for today.

I didn't normally have to pay more for menthol. It's just that I wanted to stay open to whatever happened to be on sale, menthol or not.

I hear you. I think we were all in the same boat. The last 2 years I smoked, I was rolling my own and I think that's what lead me to REALLY want to quit (or do something else, little did I know I would be doing this). The tobacco was garbage for one and it was dangerous on top of that because sometimes the hot ash would fall and burn carpet, etc... Regardless, I don't think I'll ever miss them!

Good morning! I got the Holiday off and was just out in the yard to take care of a yellow jackets nest. I got wrapped on my hand about 10 times the other day cutting grass. I looked down and I was covered with them. Pretty creepy. I was actually lucky because it was only about 50 degrees out last Thursday and they were fairly slow. If it was in the 80's I probably would have ended up in the hospital.

I packed the Hybris up and I'm going to send it out tomorrow and hope for a replacement. I think they'll give me one because a different person is on the case.
I received an email this morning asking to do a review and I gave it a good review overall, but had to say that I don't really like the ego threads and obviously, the back screens need some extra attention. Other than that I highly recommended it.

I don't get near them without my bee suit (I own a Pest Control Company and do bee/wasp removal), and I HATE Yellow Jackets, nasty little buggers. Glad they didn't get you. I charge $150 (and up) to have to deal with them.

Really hope they take care of you, keep us informed. It is a really good mod. For mine to keep working with the number of times I have dropped them (once in the swimming pool), they have to be build at least 1/2 way decent.

I have a feeling they will and I agree, it is very well built!:)

I asked around about the best way to get rid of the yellow jackets and the majority of the people I asked said gasoline. I know it's not the brightest thing to do, but I tried it and this afternoon they were going about there business as usual. They really creep me out, but it's worse when you try and kill them and they laugh in your face. I guess what I missed was covering the hole (that is the size of a softball) after I poured it in. Don't know. Okay Burnie, go ahead. You can scold me now because I'm sure YOU know what you're doing. I guess I tried it because I'm desperate to get rid of them. I don't know how you do it, but I have a major phobia for ANY bug, including Spiders, which is probably on top of my list.8-o

Gasoline? :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Afternoon, wrong time. After dark or before sunrise. use a red lens flashlight if you need light, they can't see red. The eaisest for you would be to dust the entrance hole with an insecticide dust labeled for wasps and yellow jackets, then they contact it coming in and out. Takes a few days but should work. Also once it gets cold the nest will die, except for the queen, which is a good time to dig up the old nest. I have the equipment to inject the soil and kill the nest in a matter of minutes, which is why I charge the big bucks.

I've been using it for my carto-tanks. As long as I'm using dual coil cartos in them, they're fine. They're just a bit warmer than usual, but ok.

No way I would try to use it on my SC 2.0 ohm cartos!

Duel Coils take more power to fire, so that makes sense.
