Should look good with a beauty ring. I'm not into genny's myself.

Here is a good price on battery holders to carry extras batteries with you when out and about. I have a couple of more packs of them coming on my current order from FT.
$1.74 - 4*14500 Battery Protective Cases (3-Pack) 3-pack - translucent + purple + yellow

=I bought mine in January of this year. It came on the market in December of 2013.
-The only gripe is the threads and the copy of the evod that they give you is not like the evod. The base will not fit into a standard because it is 'squared' off and not the same size as an evod. Other than that, it is phenomenal. I use it every day at work and never gets beat up.Here's a little more info on another earlier thread...

Welcome IMRs, glad you joined us. You are the one who convinced me to try it, and it is my "go to" APV. Thanks :D
As for the base not fitting a standard EVOD, well I use mostly carto tanks so it is not a problem with me. The EVOD that comes with it does work better rewicked with Rayon, IMHO (or Cotton if you don't have Rayon).

I still would like a floating + pin, but haven't had the first problem as it is, and I have dropped in more times than I care to say. :( (I really should use the lanyard that comes with it)

What about the threads? My 510 threads seem fine, and I clean the connection at least twice a day when filling the tank.

This confused me so I got a different EVOD top and it screwed on the Hybris EVOD base just fine, so I am wondering if it has been changed since you purchased yours last January? Could you take a picture of this problem so I might could understand it better? Thanks

I meant the outer, ego threads because I usually use an evod or a protank mini on it. They wobble a little. I never tried putting a 510 head on it.
The post on the base is square and doesn't fit into an original Kanger evod. I'll post a pic of it some time today. When I was talking with the people at jvapes (jwraps), the owner told me that it was a redesigned evod so essentially it isn't a true kanger evod head, but like you said, it works very well. I still use mine... All I do to it is dry burn and stick a piece of cotton in it and it's good for a couple more days. I'll have to try rayon soon. I've been using cotton yarn for a flavor wick for quite some time now and have been wanting to try rayon or cellucotton to see the difference in flavor. I checked out my new local store last night and the gentleman gave me some cellucotton to try out. I'm looking forward to trying this out today. I read quite a few reviews and they're all very positive.

Had not noticed the EGO threads. When I first got mine I put on a beauty ring and just used the 510 threads. Tried the EVOD and there is a little wobble if it is not tightened down, which could push in the + pin if not careful. This is where the floating + pin would be nice so it could be tightened all the way down.

I see what you are talking about with the square chimney. I don't have any Kanger EVOD's, mine are all no name ones, and the base does fit in mine. Mine just say "EVOD BCC" on them, no idea who makes them, but I guess they are clones or something.

Rayon (cellucotton) is better than cotton to me.

Long thread, but lots of good info, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ck-better-flow-flavor-saturation-nic-hit.html

There was a link in the thread to get 10' for $1.99, no freight, which is what I got. There are also plenty in the thread which have 500' boxes and offer to send you a sample. Good stuff, but you have to wick a little different than cotton, you have to use more as it does not swell when wet like cotton does. To me it does have a more neutral taste than cotton, but takes a little to figure out how much to use, too little=burnt taste, too much=choked juice flow=burnt taste.

Rayon Cellucotton is absolutely awesome. Best flavor I've had yet. I just popped a little in an evod and was super surprised. And I always thought the Peaches & Cream was good. What a difference. I'll be ordering some today! Wonder if you can help? Where do you get yours Burnie? I saw some on Amazon. Very inexpensive.

I've got the SID and Robust also. The SID is a bit large for me. The Robust I just never use. It's just a little lacking. But, the Hybris seems to have the things that the Robust lacks. So, I have high hopes.
Yes, there is an option of adding a lanyard and you can charge via usb in which I don't prefer to use, but the Robust does have some great points too. I actually like both.:) The price is looking way better now. I paid 60.00 for the kit in January!

Got mine here Rayon Wick/CelluCotton (10 feet) - Anasa Vapes and they did not charge freight.

I like both also, but as 2 of my 3 Robust went bad, and the Hybris keeps chugging along (after many times falling out of my pocket), I am leaning more to the Hybris. Guess I really should use the Included Lanyard.

I received my Hybris yesterday. I only had a few minutes to play with it before work. But, so far I really, really like it.
Glad to hear it!! I might just break down and get a second.

I got the 500' box at Sally's beauty supply store... just stopped in and picked up many, many lifetimes worth of rayon for around $11.50
I'm really liking this rayon!!!! Plus, in my vapemail the other day, I received 2 air control valves for my protanks. Ohhhhh, Unbelievable!!!!!! Rayon & the valve-- it's heaven! :vapor:

 Yes I guess I should, but it is in my hand most of the time. Late Sept when we go fishing I Will be using it, don't want to have to jump in to rescue it from the bottom of the Ocean.

I quit using Protanks because of the tight draw, might have to try an AFC and see if that helps. But I have so much right now that Don't get used, no need to order more stuff, at least at the moment. :D
