From what I am reading the Old EVOD base will not work, but a PT2 mini base will.

NICE! I have a couple of the Protank 2's. When I get the glass evod, I'll try it and if I like it, I'll have to order a couple more for work. I don't use my Protank 2's much because I'm afraid of breaking them, but I think the coating on the glass evods will give me more peace of mind to take them to work. Thanks for the info!

That's a pretty nice rebuildable sando! Any chance of putting your own tip on that? Like I mentioned to Burnie, I'm not too crazy about metal tips.

if you noticed in the other link i posted about info on the small RDA, in the pic there showing a blk derlin tip on it, so yep i would imagine you can.
i know it doesn't cost much but i done went over my Vape budget this month with a Simple T-Workhorse and 2 nice 22mm RDA's or i would pick it up.

edit: yes it will take any 510 tip,.......

Update on this. I noticed this morning after leaving it sit upright all night (actually since yesterday afternoon), liquid is seeping out of the bottom (I believe through the chimney) so I don't think it's a good idea after all. Looks like it's just not sealing correctly between the cup and chimney.

Thought you might like that one because of the changeable drip tip.
I only ordered 1 of each to see what they are like, then I can order more if I like them. I'll post on them once I get them in, with pictures on the Hybris of course.

While I'm thinking of it, I've always thought the Hybris was aluminum, but we all know aluminum doesn't rust. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a couple very small scabs of rust on mine. I scraped it a little with my finger nail and whatever coating on the mod came off and I was able to scrape the rust off, but still left a mark. I'll have to get the camera out and take a shot of it to show everyone.

Not sure what metal it is, and it does not say on the website. Whatever it is it is Not Magnetic, just tested it. Could be a brass color coated metal. If you look at the picture in this post, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ybris-vv-mod-owners-group-2.html#post14018538 and look at the bevel at the top below the beauty ring, you will see there I have worn off the coating from use, and it is a brass color. The weight to me is too little for it to be brass, but most likely some cheap metal with an electroplate coating.

Interesting-wonder why your ring wore like that? It couldn't of been the cause of over use of a lanyard.
Mine still looks brand new and as you know, it's almost a year old.

No it's not from lanyard overuse.
It's from the way I hold it, and most of the time it is in my hand, even as I type this.

It is just the beveled ring, not the body itself.

Well it is only about 1/3 of the ring, the other 2/3 look just fine. The way I hold it to hit the button, it will only wear out that area. That's fine with me, I am about function, not looks.

I have my own web server I upload them to, not ECF. Just upload them to a free server somewhere and then link the picture, not sure how to tell you to do it.

Tried to make a wrap for it, not too good, and I also didn't like the feel of the material, so I took it off. Might try again sometime with different material. It is a PITA to match up the screen & buttons correctly.

You got me thinking about how similar in size the Hybris is to the Robust. The main body of them looks exactly alike. Even the buttons look like they're lined up the same.

So, I dug up my Robust j-wraps. And, guess what? They're a perfect match!

First of all, your mods look real nice all wrapped up. And Good job on checking out the Robust wraps DH! It crossed my mind a couple of times and I never checked into it myself. When I was using my Robust last year, I got to thinking, I needed a different look because I was getting tired of Black, so I looked over the wraps at j-wraps-next thing you know, I'm on the phone to call them because I couldn't find a wrap for it. The young lady I spoke to told me that they could make any wrap for any mod, etc... At that time, they were in the midst of branching out and opening an ecig store (j-vapor) across the street from their j-wrap store (opened the following day) and they had a mod called the Hybris just in, and she wanted me to look at it. She sent all the info and I ended up buying it. She threw in a wrap for my Robust for a freebie and a 'real' IMR battery and some of their juice.
So to make a very long story a little shorter, I do still have that wrap that has been sitting around for almost a year. I will probably stick it on sometime soon, but I'm just not ready to cover the chrome look yet. Sorry So long winded! So that's a little bit of my story on how I ended up with the Hybris.
