I'm sure if they crated a topper that lasted for years, he'd use it. Even I dispose of my heads when the coil burns out. (I don't recoil because I suck at it.....I rewick and dry burn, but once the coil pops, it goes in the trash).

They have. They're called rebuildables.

I know Batitude is a respected member, but if he's going to pontificate about a "disposable society" in regard to disposable APV's, maybe he should follow suit with his cartomizers, which are probably made in, gasp, China.

I was responding this post from Batitude.

"I'm from the old school mindset of buying quality with the idea its going to last for a long time, not the current mindset of today's disposable society. It's getting harder to identify these items, but the Provari is one of them. To each their own."

This, yet he uses a disposable topper. I find it a bit hypocritical.

It seemed obvious to me that I was talking about mods, not juice delivery devices. The major subject of this thread has been about mods. Only you could fathom that my comments meant everything I use is not disposable.

Most people who do rebuildables eventually rebuild their coils and wicks with new wire and wick material. That is still considered "disposable" the way I understand the term.

I use Chinese-made cartomizers because that is the only place they are made. I use Ikenvape cartos, and although they are made in China, they are made to the higher grade specifications of Isaac Ikenvape of the US with better materials than the general-grade specs of Smoktech and Boge. That's why IKV cartos taste better and last longer.

B1shop, go ahead and spread your peacock feathers, because you're going to find yourself on the losing end of whatever battle of wits you think you're engaging in.

"You've got an army? We've got a Baditude."

Your snarky comments will only be perceived as such, and anything you hope to achieve will, well, just not accomplish a single thing except make yourself look bad.

EDIT: Sorry, Baditude, I know you disapprove of any feather-ruffling, but you're the most stand-up, intelligent, caring, kind-hearted vaper I know. Some upstart coming along thinking he's the blank and calls YOU out... I can't help but say something...

No, you were somehow equating your choice of mod to make a much broader generalization about society and how it relates to other people's disposable mods. That's fine, but own it. I figured you'd at least be consistent.

The losing end? A battle? An army? You might be taking this a tad too seriously. I'm sure Bad appreciates you fighting the good fight though.

What's your beef, B1sh0p? Because this is like a punk kid trying to rob a poker game played by mafioso. You seriously have no idea who you're poking a stick at. While Baditude is a humble man and unwilling to redress another poster attacking him, I will. I don't care anymore about "nanny states", but you don't attack Baditude. YOU are the one with a wild hair up his ..... He is my friend and has helped more vapers on ECF than you can even imagine. You need to check your attitude towards him, bro. You won't find many, if any, here, who agrees with you or accepts your viewpoint.

Ok, you really are taking this a bit too seriously. There is nothing to win. This isn't a debate. Maybe I'm naive, but I'm not really scared. Sorry.

Somewhere on top of the world
A little research might be helpful before posting assumptions... Batitude has countless posts on this forum and some of which would indicate he does wrap coils from "time to time" lol I'm not trying to call anyone out, well maybe I am but not in a negative way. I just think calling someone a hypocrite or "hypocritical" requires due diligence on said posters part before posting something like that. I'm not trying to defend Batitude he does this very well on his own. As far as the "china" remark, I also know if you do a little research you will find Batitude has recommended MANY times products that are made in China. I'm not a moderator, I have zero pull here, but we all need to act responsibly before calling others out or the moderators WILL intervene. YMMV

I've quoted everything he's been called out on. Sorry that you don't like it. He's taken shots at Chinese mods, which I've quoted. He's taken shots about "disposables," which I've quoted. Yet, half is rig is disposable and Chinese. Sorry, that's being a hippocrite. Things he's said outside this thread are pretty irrelevant tbh.

You have been dropping little snide remarks here and there all over this thread. You get called on it when someone got fed up and instantly go into "Mr innocent - whoa don't get bent - mode".
Seems like you been looking for this reaction all along.......don't act surprised. :)
