They aren't even remotely similar. I had an Aurora and also flooded it all the time and sold it to one of the B&M employees who wanted to play with it. With a RM2 on my REOS, over squonked juices go back in the bottle.

I own a Provari and several SuperT mods........ Both top notch in the customer service departmentThe REO looks like a great little device.... I am a 4 1/2 year direct dripper and might want to try a bottom feeder out....REO owners how well does that feeder bottle work? Does it leak? Does it flood? REO build quality? ect.............
It can leak if you over tighten the bottle and the o-ring in the bottle gets over tightened, but that's a quick fix (loosen it a bit). Build quality? I baby mine because I'm trying to keep the finish un-marred, but they go swimming, get run over by cars, fall off hoods of cars going Highway speeds, dropped in mud, etc. Dusted/cleaned up and keep on vaping. They do need cleaning every few weeks (hot water, dish detergent, air dry) and a little noalox put on the firing pin. Not much different than maintenance on the Provari (other than the hot water and dish detergent bit). But routine maintenance is also recommended for the Provari as well.

Cartos can be cleaned and that adds some life.
Reducing stuff for the land fill as much as possible seems like a good thing to me.
I am waiting for a laser vaporizer that fits in a carto tank.
Then I will wait for a cigalike mod that takes replaceable cells. ..4.4 or 4.5v or course.

Sorry, really not trying to turn this into a REO thread. ;-)
But, you can purchase pre-made coils online, or you can just use a carto or bridgeless atomizer on a REO as well. As for the squonking, you get that down pretty quickly.

WTH is "SQUONKED"?!?!?!?!?! The only "Squonk" I know about involves Genesis, the band, LOL!
I would be happy if the battery manufactures would just keep the exact same length for 18650 batteries. All button tops the same length, all flat tops the same length etc.... I hate readjusting my mechs every time I put a different brand battery in there!!!!

Squonking is what we REOnauts call squeezing the bottle in the REO to send juice up to the dripping atty on top.

Not really a good point for cartos, rebuildables contribute considerably less to landfills than cartos. Unless however, when you finally do throw away your carto you rip the guts out and recycle the stainless tubes somewhere.
The NexGen Futura also has mechanical reverse battery protection.
Don't know that much about flashlights honestly.
