The funny thing is, as I was saving up for a Provari, halfway to the funding goal I stopped at my local B&M and was enticed by the eVic. So I decided why not and bought the eVic instead. And I love it. I know a single drop and it will shatter, or if I want to seriously crank up the power it may not go as high. But I'll always remember one thing. IT HAS A COOL LOOKING SCREEN! But on the real, I've used a Provari before. Yes they are indeed what they claim. But I am perfectly happy with my eVic. Will I get laughed at by the locals seeing me with it instead of a Provari or a nice mech? Probably. But I do way more embarassing things througout the day than that. Whatever works for you does the job.

yeah when I saw that I was like "wwwwhhhyyyyyyy?" don't get me wrong, the 33.3 chip is a good vape and has its benefits but at that price, couldn't a nivel chip be had, or maybe an sx220?
because for the money you spent on a provari you could have bought a vamo and donated rest to homeless kids or cancer research!

Yes, that's a good one. I have a couple of non-descript single cell chargers that came with my lasers. I'd never use them again. Not because they didn't work, or were defective in any way. But simply because I am now aware of much better ones. I also have a Nitecore Intellicharger i2 ( an acceptable charger IMO), and an Efest LUC ( a very good charger with a nice yellow/amber LCD display). But my favorite is the XStar VP-1. It has a very nice blue LCD display, allows you to select charging speeds, 0.25, 0.50, 1.0 amps. And accurately measures battery volts. I've checked it against an ohm meter and it's right on. It was on sale a while back (can't recall the online store, I've ordered so much stuff from so many stores in the last few months that it's all a blur), for $35.

Without the Chinese, your beloved ProVari never exists and you are still smoking that great "made in USA" Marlboro Red.....

Realize this was directed at bad, but I have a snarky comment to make.
Someone said that ProVari owners hated children, so wouldn't we then desire to fill our landfills and destroy our planet for all future children with out spent cartos, wick, wire, and clearo heads?

I spent quite a few months with my faithful eVic and even bought the BF one too. Actually I bought him 2, he lost the first one. The only thing I got tired of was the HUGE menu and the button started going "wonkey" on me, scrolled through the menu inappropriately when I pushed the up/down/whatever... for me it was a bit like the less expensive SiD, with added bangs and whistles. It was a good mod, NOT on the durable side, but it helped me figure out what I needed and what I didn't want. It's great for learning part of your options in your vaping journey!
Yeah, and not all the vaperman dat sell the supply, sell the Provari, but probably all vaperman wishes they could sell the Provari cause it the top of the line, and the guy who started this thread, he dont use a Provari, and he seyz, if you like your Provari, you can keep your Provari,(or some such thing go read it) Why I ASK WHY?? I WASN'T TRYING TO TAKE HIS PROVARI OR ANYONE ELSE'S PROVARI AWAY FROM THEM WAS YOU? Actually, that's false. Herbert Gilbert (american) patented the e-cig back in 1963, it just didn't catch on at that time. Hon Lik (chinese) simply re-introduced a decades old technology at the right time.
