Second this....its cool to get away with until people jump on with everyone trying to ban it......you know everyone trying to ban it is psycho why dont you think people at these places are?? topics like this kind of disappoint me...
I will continue to work to undermine those .......s as long as my lungs draw breath.

I actually vaped in a courtroom today! Wasn't even sure I'd get through security with it8-o
I had to go to court Friday because some low life punks broke in to our store a couple of weeks ago. I was a bit worried about what would happen at security but figured if there were any questions I would just tell the guys it was my personal vaporizer and then demonstrate how it worked. I put my eGo in the box with my keys and pen and walked through the detector. They looked trough the box and handed it back to me without question! I got a seat on the back row and waited. When I felt "the need" I took a vape and held it. There was only a little bit of vapor when I slowly exhaled, with my head down! It was so cool! Sure made sitting in courrt for a couple of hours alot easier to take.
Guess I'll get a chance again on May 21st because case was postponed untill then.;)

Well, I did it all day at Disneyland a couple days ago, then at a McDonalds and a Carl's Junior.

Also, there is a mall out here in the LA area that has a kiosk for "Smoking Everywhere" and my roommate and I vaped as we walked around the whole mall. We even went up to the guy who ran the kiosk and he tried to sell us on the product. But we were a bit more educated then he thought, so he told us if we sent people his way that we would get hooked up.

I was just really bummed out that in all of the places I've been vaping at, not one person has said anything to me about it. I want to educate people damnit!

I agree that flagrantly vaping in non-smoking areas is just an obnoxious (to some) and impolite (to most) policy. It will piss off more people than not and if 1 person complains you can be sure that there are another 10 or 20 people who are just as upset but not as vocal. I have made it a policy of mine to not only ask permission from the management but also from those who are seated in my immediate area. You'd be surprised at how far a little politeness can go. Do I get shot down from time to time...sure, but it's the exception to the rule. It's just the right thing to do as far as I can see. Others have to breathe in what I'm breathing out. Maybe PG and VG are harmless but there IS nicotine in our vapor and no matter how small the amount, people have a right not to be exposed to it. I think that if we approach public vaping from a perspective of protecting the rights of OTHERS, then we will eventually win the public over....one polite conversation at a time.

One of my good friends was recently hospitalized (he's 70+ and smokes 3 packs a day). I brought him an old e-cigarillo and he vaped happily (though out of sight of the nurses) for the few days of incarceration. Since then, I searched for another alternative and stumbled upon this forum... I've now switched to a KR808D-1 exclusively, and he's working on subbing the KR8 for some of his daily cigs.

I'll admit that most places like the grocery store or other public places I got away with it, but I am never standing still or sitting still and making it obvious. I am usually strolling down the isle or walking and when I'm finished I put it (DSE601 e-pipe) in my pocket. I guess some people want to say something but after they see that, they are left dumbfounded, cause nobody puts a lit pipe or cigarette in their pockets. Also by the time they get where I was they don't smell anything burning, none the wiser, VAPE ON!!!

In class. One of my profs. thinks it's cool and lets me vape my head off. I think he's feeling nostalgic for his college days. He had a professor who used to chain smoke during lectures.

A couple of my other profs don't mind either. Let me tell ya, it is so nice to be able to vape a little bit during a math test.

Other places:
Every bar I've been in
King Soopers (our version of Kroger)
Movie theaters
concerts (not surprising)
My mom's house (this is the shocker)

I still don't really use it anywhere I wouldn't have smoked, except my house. Man I love vaping before getting out of bed in the morning.

Used it at work yesterday, but I was the only one there so it was easy. Still a little nervous about the whole thing, especially around here NOBODY has heard of the thing. Once I get a little more used to it that will probably change though.

Don't believe everything you read kiddies. It's not that they're really legal, it simply that they're not illegal... yet.

It only takes one person to complain... and we'll all be stealth vaping on black market, pesticide-grade nicotine.

I realize everyone is trying to shed that "Second Class Citizen" persona that came with smoking cigarettes, but perhaps our efforts could be better spent educating the masses rather than defying them.

Well, That's just my opinion... I could be wrong ;)

Totally absolutely agree.

*Hospital (worked there, vaped everywhere. Was specifically told not to by my boss)
*School (many classes, at a Jr. college)
*4 different airports and airplanes
*Any store I go into
*DMV, police station, administrative office at school, movie theater.

And my favorite...

In my car, with a minor in the passenger seat (Illegal in California, for analogs anyway)

Just another generic list to add to the collection. I'm never caught ever, except once, when I got kicked out of the dorms because I schooled the security gaurd when he told me I wasn't allowed to.

"I'm sure that's illegal to use in here"

"Yeah, well, actually it's not..." He got a bit upset about being wrong.
