Your Highness, I do believe you, in your hurry to post, have quoted (I think) the wrong person.
I believe Her Highness was defending my honor. Which is sweet. I still await some form of acknowledgement from Captain Clean.
He may say plainly that he finds me to be a vulgar pig. (He won't be alone taking that position)
He may say I misunderstood his post.
I will respect either of these definitive stances. His mushy half insult I find to be irritating.
He may refuse to acknowledge it at all.
The original post was not put decisively, and I expect at least a wholehearted insult, or none at all. I think he owes me at least that degree of clarification. He may not agree. I have made my stance clear.

it's funny the rant thread has mostly died and now we are here mostly but we go back and forth in a variety of topics between the two threads but now mostly sticking here...
as far as creativity....the group of people I've seen posting in here are the same group of people I've seen posting around the forums giving some of the best advice which is what kind of drew me here, that and the personalities in this thread all complement each other

I went back and edited out the quote, since I wasn't directing my comments at anyone in particular. It was just an observation about what we have gotten dinged for and what we haven't.
I don't think my passive-agression is recognized or that his Lordship is posting pictures of what he dreams of, but will never have, except for the car? What happened to the car? Everyone is different, but I'm not offended by the Earl's pictures, bored perhaps, but that has more to do with the repetitive nature of the subjects. There are plenty of pictures of stunned woman doing other things all over the net. Keep in mind too, those girls are getting paid boo-koo bucks for posing, which is very fortunate, since they won't look like that forever.
I am reminded of some cosplay I was involved in a few years ago, or course it wasn't called that then, but you get the idea. I had a lovely Alice in Wonderland outfit I hadn't worn for about 10 years, but I was the same size, so I didn't think anything of it...until I looked in the mirror. OMG! I looked like a waitress from a pancake house! Then I tried on a few others - the schoolgirl had mutated into Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, the librarian looked like a professor past tenure, and the beach babe looked like the lady from South Pacific. It wasn't pretty.
If his Lordship wants to live in a pretend world, why not? We all know he has more of a chance with this one.

Broke my computer, salvaged parts & fixed my sons... which I'm using now.
Totally sucks! Can't over clock it, or run F@H. But, new parts are on the way & I'll get to see how a GTX 770 graphics card runs.
Anyway, the one bad thing about "text" is, it all depends on the "reader's" mood at the time. And some folks (like me) are not very good at communicating through text. So if I read something that puts me off, I calm down before ever saying anything, because the person my have not meant it the way I took it. Or I took it in a way they didn't intend. Or... you get the point. LOL!

Oh oops! I guess it was you I should have been addressing before. Don't be fooled by my manners, I am a little gutter cat, I just have the vocabulary to make it appear ambiguous. I don't go after innocents, but will mess with people I think are pompous or dismissive to those seeking help.
I am sincere in my mission to make vaping accessible to everyone, but beyond that, I might poke a stick at someone just for entertainment. I would never deliberately hurt someone's feelings and sincerely apologize if I have, in fact I will even apologize if something I said was misconstrued, but if someone plays the victim card, I just won't engage with them anymore. That said, I don't hold grudges, we are on the internet for gosh sakes! I may think someone is a nimrod in one post and completely agree with something they say in the next. If you notice, the posts I come back here and scream about are ones full of misinformation being passed on as knowledge to new vapers.
No one has been chased off of this thread. Some people stop by and post a few times and move on, others hang around until the topic changes and they get bored; still others read the first couple of pages and post, not realizing the beginning of this thread bares little resemblance to where it is now. We aren't mean to those people, we say hello, but don't interact with them very much since most of the time they are railing against ProVaris, not realizing most of us have them. Then there are folks who get it and jump right in. If someone works themselves into a snit and threatens to take their ball and go home, buh-bye. If they were really upset, don't you think they would just leave? Or start another thread saying how mean we are? I won't follow someone to a thread to debate why they don't like me. They don't like me! It would be a perplexing world if everyone did.
You seem like a nice person. You're smart and funny, but you must understand: EddardinWinter is going through his second adolescence; mods warns us when they feel we have crossed a line; Creativity and twisted perceptions often arise from the gutter, and if not for the rules, my posts would be the most vulgar of all. I hope you stay and play, we are a fun group, but I (or we - I don't pretend to speak for others) am not going to curb my eccentric personality and warped sense of humor because some people don't like it. I go ballistic at anything that remotely seems like someone is trying to control me.

I feel for you. I knocked over a coke onto my mac keyboard, not realizing it's sealed and can't be taken apart like my pc one. Grrr. There are some potential fixes on line, but none that sound like something I want to attempt without a back-up keyboard. That is not what I wanted to spend my toy money on.
