Oooh. That was not very nice. That mod is not particularly attractive either....

Hey Lion, stop teasing the lesser beasts, otherwise they'll run round behind and nip you on the goollies. (Us canines have to stick together chel, I'll grab his tail, you do the deed)

Oh. I forgot about the carto. I will have to find out. I thought you could use a Nova on it?

i'll have to look but it is a bottom feeder so all the juice is in the mod itself? maybe a 306/510 dripping atty? i might be totally out of my mind wrong as i haven't investigated them at all LOL

in other news...did the simi valley fireworks accident make national news? only asking because i got a PM from a member in canada...but they have family in socal that may have told them...

I just got three of these for this same issue. My ProVari is unscathed but, I had fatally wounded two Protanks (I thought).

I got the bases three days after ordering them from these guys. They were like 3 bucks each. Protanks as good as new now.

(now sold out-try the link below)

Kanger ProTank Replacement Base

These guys are in stock and have them on sale. Order some before you need them.

Thank you! I had forgotten where I saw them for sale.

I'll have to give that a try! What is it with the bottom of Protanks? I had one attached to the Bobo and it fell on the floor. It still works, but is noticeably bent to one side.

They be a weak spot. Simple fix... tilt your head. hehhehe!
Tatroe has a nice beefy ProTank bottom that should help with that. Even comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

Now this is on my FT wishlist (after reading the other thread...) https://www.fasttech.com/product/1383905

Ocelot: You were so NICE to that poster! Kudos.

I kept having slap my paw to keep from going down line-by-line and pointing out what an idjit that helpful other member was though. Why, oh , why are the ProVarinati continue to be harassed when no one says anything about these sorts of posters? And the ones where beginners ask about trying dripping for the first time just to try their DIY flavors and are directed to RDAs?

Sorry, I like the vase-shaped mod better than the iTaste.

Believe me, after reading many of the threads in the New Members forum, my head is at a permanent tilt.

I kinda like breaking the 2-3$ base, rather than damaging my mods threads. Just my opinion.

I agree.
but the PT bases are reeealy thin. Plus, if you can flush mount then it's going to take a humm dinger of a fall to damage the mod's threads. I dropped my K100 & flush mounted PT a couple days ago. Only damage was it started to pull the top of the mod apart. LOL!

I'd rather lose the Protank.

I just got three of these messages from Fasttech after writing some reviews:

Fanatic Support? I've found FT support be quite good but :?: ?

BTW my review appeared second from the bottom (same name as my ECF name). Do you think they grade by the score given? I can't say that I've ever noticed before now. That can't be right, the person below me gave 5 stars and wrote the review in June.

Crazed Support would be more disconcerting.
