Correct, which makes the stereo version silly- you can only use one eye at a time. It's a bit like buying a set of cups, all with holes drilled in the bottom for easy filling.

If you want to work close with stereo vision, the only option is still one of these: Headband Magnifier With Light 4 Lenses | eBay

You won't get 20x magnification for this price, but it will be more workable.

Surgeons and dentists use something that is a combination between a stereo microscope and a pair of glasses, but you're not gonna buy THAT for less than 10 bucks.

I used to have great close vision, being quite short sighted. Now I can't even do that so well I'm seriously thinking about one of the head bandy things. Sigh.

I like the idea of the cups, but something about it just doesn't seem practical.

Fanboys are in every scene. Now that vaping is getting more and more popular, I can only imagine it's similar to, say longboard skating... There's even a huge international forum about skateboarding downhills. Underground events, gear swaps, sessions, and vendor meets, etc. It's a pretty sweet thing really. A lot of noobs that think it's a wonderful hobby to jump into and spend hundreds of dollars on a special contoured board that is designed for 60+mph and these noobs have never been down a hill before. Then they spend a thousand dollars on a leather suit, $300 on a fullface downhill skateboarding helmet, $300 cnc'ed precision trucks designed for speed, and the list of gear continues...Then they get severely hurt because they don't have the experience or skill-set to reach speeds above 20mph (which isn't fast at all). Now laws are being set because these people are "blowing out" spots, killing themselves and ruining it for the rest of us. As for me, I'm retiring from professional downhill skating after 3 years of gravity sport sponsorships and moving on to street luge because my current job involves "don't get hurt, Jack" and demands more physical strength and endurance than being a cook in my previous dead-end kitchen career.

The point of my story is to bring light that this vaping scene is not exempt from the same type of, "whoa that's cool!" buying trends. Some people may think vaping is crazy stupid just like how some of ya'll have no desire to getting into skateboarding 45mph down hills. I've been spreading the stoke and turning my friends away from analogs. I just dumped a few hundred on a bunch of vaping gear. I think it's cool and I spend a lot of money. I also feel that no matter how much money someone dumps into vaping, it's still better than the cost of cancer. I get some wild looks with my TW mini rcs out in public. Most of the time, smokers will give me a negative vibe about how they think vaping is lame and could never quench their crave from nicotine. They are close-minded and probably wont quit until it's too late... like my friend that turned me onto vaping. His stage 1 throat cancer after 14 years of smoking was enough to make me convert after my 9 years of 1.5-2 packs a day. E-cigs didn't cut it for me the handful of times I've tried in the past. I needed something bigger and better that didn't require charging a battery 3 times a day.

TL;DR: people will buy stuff if they think it's cool.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! And that, boys and girls, is what she said just before the coup. The End.
