That's actually how I have been pronouncing it in my head for awhile since I figured out you weren't originally from NY.

Chelle I tried your setup for melon ejuice with the cantaloupe and honeydew flavors. I made one change you might want to try. I added 2 drops of koolada per 10 mL. Koolada has a cool FEEL to it without the peppermint or menthol taste. Really makes the melon pop like and ice cold melon slice on a hot day.

Annnnnnnnnd......caught up....finally.

I've been a bit absent lately around here. I thought that it was the children that wrecked the parent's cars, not supposed to be the other way around. :( I guess Mom is not used to the size of our Acadia, and proceeded to slide it along a pole at the gas station on Monday....and I don't feel like having the insurance go up to get it fixed, so now my vape fund has been turned into a "fix the Acadia" fund. The first estimate we got yesterday was $950... The worst part about it is that the wife has babied that thing since we drove it off the lot 3 years ago. I'm in a bit of an unfamiliar place now, as I don't want to be mad at my mother, but I am also upset to see the Acadia look the way it does now. I'm back into the "murphy's law was written around my life" state-of-mind.

On a bit of a different, vaping related note, my MKB-TS that I was given showed up yesterday...so now I'm having fun with the mechanical side of the world. :D

I deepest apologizes Your Sultananess...I should have researched the name of your people further. I saw that written somewhere and it came to mind.

And yes she is here, but I haven't opened the box yet. I promised I was going to finish something first, so her unveiling awaits.

Too much information?

In Oz, a slow clap is a sarcastic comment on a statement, intended to point how obvious a comment was, or how stupid an action. Did I faux paz?

Indeed not. It was a well written post. The slow clap was meant as a compliment.

Thank you for the memorial monument. I was not expecting that.

Beckums, the zoo was FANTASTIC!!! I know that it would be optimal to have the kids see the animals in their natural habitats...but that's not really practical, even if it wasn't for the whole "not going to ever attempt flying with Eli again as the non-verbal, CP child doesn't do well confined to an airplane seat for hours" thing. So it was really great to get to see some of our threadmate's cousins hanging around in a place that they can be admired by a great range of people. Everything from the tree-loving Ocelot to the Proud Lion and his Lioness, the baby Giraffes and the fantastic Seals. All of them brought HUGE smiles to the kids. The elephants were MIA when we went, as they were apparently "recovering" from a long holiday weekend that must have exhausted them doing all of their standing, eating, swaying the trunk, etc....but at least the Lion was across the way running around and playing to redirect the kiddos attention. :D
