Okay, well guys, here goes date #2...

I met this girl at WaWa on Sunday, we started talking about how cool it is to drink unsweetened iced tea...and...she gave me a business card. Being the refreshingly honest guy seems to be working so far. She is a medium height and somewhat voluptuously-built brunette with very nice hair. I would judge her age to be 34-37ish.

I thought of her today when I was getting my afternoon tea, so texted her, we are meeting for drinks and (maybe some dinner) at 6. So I am not sure if anyone cares, but here I go. I did wait the mandatory-minimum two day period before hitting her up, and it seems to have paid off. I guess some rules never change when it comes to dating.

It is nice to have kids that are old enough to handle themselves for a night. So I will see you guys later...or not...

Well I got my fasttech order today. The V3 mech is solidly made and the bottom button is much easier for me to push BUT every ridge in it is SHARP. Worse than the K100 sharp. I am going to be putting orings in every ridge. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1398603

The Igo-L clone seems very solidly made. In fact the orings are so solid I played heck getting it apart.https://www.fasttech.com/products/1400500

The Phoenix clone is more like a squid in size than an octopus. IT IS TINY!. Worse you have to use probably the smallest allen wrench ever invented to work with it. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1391101

The stainless steel drip tips are wonderfully heavy and solid. These are patterned after the ones that come with the K100. At a bit under $6 for 5 they are a steal. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1347902

Yeah, that does seem to be all pointy bits and sharp edges. I'm not sure how much 'O' rings are going to help in this case. The more you use it the less problems you will have. Trust me, I'm a guitar player. ;-)

That is not my favourite Phoenix. I just bought a Tower which is very similar in base design and I'm finding it doesn't work as well as the Phoenix V1 or V2 or whatever it is:
Phoenix Rebuildable Atomiser

The older style as I was using for the dual coil in that vape video I did, has a deep base rather than the flat base you see in the later designs. This deep base is a 'cup' that the wicks go into and what make it a 12 drop dripper that is pretty fool proof. The flat base ones are much less forgiving I'm finding.

I haven't seen a mech mod (clone) on FastTech that I would buy, but I'm kinda picky.

If you want, I bought phillips head replacement screws for that Phoenix clone, I could send you some. All the RDAs seem to use the same size screws, I have replaced all the screws on 5 different RDAs. That can be purchased from Kidney Puncher, 10 for $2. Screws,SS M2x0.4 HD32 - Kidney Puncher They also have some with the same threads but larger heads which won't fit in the tiny RDAs like the Phoenix clone.

I have quite a few drip tips in my FastTech cart. I'm waiting for them to offer something new that will make the purchase more substantial. For some reason, I like the idea of abusing their free shipping policy but I also like to space vape purchases out over a longer time period. 2-3 vapemail items per week (including contest wins) is absolutely ridiculous.

The black box ohm meter came back in stock at Madvapes this morning right after I left for work. They were sold out long before I had a chance to check my email for an in stock notification. Supply and demand is really out of whack on this item, yet 100 more Ego type items hit the shelves every week.

What about getting those foamy rubber grippers and cover it in? like bike handle/weight lifting replacement, or a pencil grip (prob not big enough but you get the idea)

Thanks for the link on the screws I am about to make an order from them so I just added a set to my cart. :) Yeah I got spoiled with my octopus. 10-12 drops is what makes it tolerable for me to drip. I am hearing the IGO-L can do the 10-12 thing well enough we will know when I get it coiled up.

Those boxes have been torturing me for months LOL.

Right now I have it wrapped in heavy tape and it is working well. Bike handle might just work. That is a good thought.

Of course AFTER I ordered mine they put a smooth one for sale :p Le sigh the story of my life.

Depending on how the IGO-L works out next month I will be picking up an original IGO-L or another Octopus I think. I didn't realize the phoenix was so much smaller.
