The JD made me think of my second useless fact of the day.
If you ask for a bourbon and coke in many Asian countries you are quite likely to get a JD and coke. I've discovered that it makes no difference if you try to argue, you get JD and coke.
Last year on a cruise ship, I discovered this even extends to English owned liners (P&O) who employ Asian heads of department. JD was all you could get. Don't get me wrong, I like JD very much, but it's not strictly speaking, bourbon. An 'old fashioned' just isn't the same with JD.
About the only bourbon you can get in Bangkok airport duty free is Jim Beam white label. No Bookers, no Basil Haydens, no Bulleit, no joy. Much puzzlement.
i have never known the difference between bourbon/whiskey or the different kinds (and i was a bartender at one point LOL)...i know my friend drinks jameson when we go to shows (music) and it smells deathly strong and that my stepdad drank VO/water my entire childhood....seagram's 7 if he was desperate...my friend that passed recently graduated from Zima/beer to Crown.....my exbf who was always the "connoisseur" of anything he fancied (which changed depending on the crowd
) was all into fancy expensive whiskey last i spoke to him....all that and i still don't know the diff or get the appeal but when smokie showed his bottle of Toasted Caramel whiskey i was like..."ooh i want that!" ....still haven't even looked for it LOL

soldering is stupid easy....i used to solder components onto circuit boards when i was bored at one of my first jobs...and then i would have dreams of HUGE solder mountains (circuit board solder looks like baby hershey's kisses....) LOL

the calabash mod....i think they meant that you couldn't replace the coil/atty in the clearo that came with the great pumpkin...
oh and that little stand with the clips and the magnifying glass.....has anyone used that for wrapping coils?
