Myrany, are you screwing the K100 telescope together fully, until it stops? If you only screw them together just enough to make contact it's a very long throw on the button. I found if I screw it all the way to the stop the throw is a lot shorter and it became quite comfortable for me. I think that is the way it is supposed to be used, unlike mods with side buttons where you would just be squashing the spring flat.
I will have to try that. I had read that snugging it up too much on a mech could damage the battery which is why I wasn't doing it. TY again my friend.

Fab one fix that works for some.

slipped over the post of the head is a little silicone cup thing. take it off and flip it over so the cup faces up. It will fill the gap and should work if you have not removed flavor wicks.

Thanks Myrany!

I have heard of that and it fleetingly crossed my mind but I thought that was a solution for another problem. I'll have another look and see if it will do the trick. The original 1.8 ohm coils are still OK but it's just a matter of time now.

I'm a bit worried if I put these ones into the cleaning rotation and accidentally put on in a Protank the extra length may do some damage.

If it will physically fit in the protank I dont see how it would damage the protank. after all it is feeding into a hollow tube that runs all the way up the length of it.

Conversely to make the shorter protank heads fit the PT2 you could try the flip the silicone cup thing. Same as many people did to make evod heads fit the PT1

EDIT: I am going to be honest with you although I have 3 boxes of protank1 heads in my storage box I am still rebuilding my original 2 heads that came with the thing and haven't touched the new ones.

With ya there on the IGO-L. I have mine sitting on my sentinel V3. I have an Octopus RDA on my K100 and a Pheonix clone on an ego battery. I hated dripping before I discovered RDA's. Now I love it.

At home all I vape are rebuildables either RDA's or Gennys.

Out and about I still use cart0 tanks though.
yeah...like i said...liquids i thought i didn't like at all are not so bad and the ones i liked before are "brighter" and wrapping an RDA (single coil) seems to be stupid easy....i am still trying to get a handle on under/over filling and how soon i need to refill and managing the wick once on the base (i've done two so i feel pretty confident it will get better LOL)

the vamo feels a bit cheapo to me now...but i still use/like it with a carto tank...and the provari with a protankII

The EA appears to have a floating centre pin set in a nylon bush. This allows you to flush mount almost anything if you want. The KTS does not appear to have a floating or adjustable pin, and it's not mentioned in the description or in the feedback.

I think I'd go with the EA based on that.

If' I didn't already have a China GG I'd be *very* interested in that one. (paid a lot more for the GG clone, and the quality does not appear to be anything like that one).

forgive my ignorance but you mean the EA is a GG clone or a different one? the sold out one is the chi you right? or is that the same thing as a GG? man...as if the multitude of choices weren't enough..keeping all of the names and clones straight is nutballs LOL
who's on first?....oh wait...who's on ____ LMAO

The One I linked is an EA which is a clone of the Electric Angel Mod.

The one YOU linked is the GG clone.

Well, I have to admit it is a touching story...and I also applaud Mr. Robin for taking such good care of you. A relationship of that duration is virtually unthinkable to me, but I acknowledge your success story. Congratulations.

You know I have heard that it is unhealthy to remain monogamous for a period of time greater than 17 years...so, in the interest of helping your marriage out, let me offer my services, solely to provide some selfless assistance in this area. I feel it is incumbent upon me to at least make the offer.

(Edd braces himself for Robin's laughing response)

Bwahahahaha! You knew it was coming! Bwahahahaha! Good try, I have to give you an A+ for that clever offer. ;)

I don't have such an wonderful romantic story. We literally ran into each other in the Foreign Language building while in college. As in right out of cartoons 2 people racing around a corner from opposite directions collide. I was still married to the ex back then. We became the best of friends over the next 3 years. Often sitting and chatting for hours in the student union.

He and the lunch bunch ( a small circle of good friends that regularly hung out in the union and discussed anything and everything) helped me find the self confidence and self worth that let me finally get out of a 9 year physically and emotionally abusive marriage.

After I graduated I needed help covering bills and he had one year of grad school left so he moved in as a roomate (first year teachers at that time were lucky to get $17,000 a year). By the time he graduated we couldn't imagine life without the other one.

He couldn't find a job there so we came back to louisiana. 2 years later I was standing in the smoking pit behind the school where teachers were allowed to smoke when the Assistant Principal who also smoked asked me when I was finally going to marry the guy. I told him the simple truth. When I could afford a wedding. Assistant Principal said well hells bells gal I am a minister I will do it. We were married 4 months later by the Assistant Principal of the school. That was more than 20 years ago.

Ours was never the grand passion sort of relationship. What we have is a strong friendship that deepened into a rich lasting affection.

TLDR: Accidental meeting + accidental wedding = 20+ year marriage

That is a very touching story and it is romantic! I can see a movie of it in my head. :)

That's a very cool story, Myra. Don't sell it short.

Agreed!!!

in honor of the vivi but not a smack at our REAL Robin :) (i don't think honor is the right word but it's all i can come up with at the moment)

my protank/evod heads all fit in the protank/protank2 but i haven't bought any replacement heads (and i have rewrapped all of the protanks LOL)

maybe it is a "descalator"? :D

i am now almost actively stalking a side button sigelei....i can't get using the k100 to not feel awkward

it is interesting to me that every liquid i have tastes different to me on a made by me coil (mostly the igo-L)....some i thought i didn't like at all aren't too bad.....some that i didn't like...i don't like more LOL

And another Bwahahahaha!!! I'm a Vivi Nova only vaper. ;) Now you really feel like doing that to me, don't ya?

Protank on the Vamo, Protank on the K100, Tower RDA on the GG clone, and two 3TS on the Twists. I was watching TV the other night and wondering why my ADV was tasting like it was burning. It was... a little funky and I thought maybe I'd made a mistake with resistance or something. It took me ten minutes to figure out it was actually my Latte flavour that I was vaping LOL then all was well with the world.

Oh, a G&T (a real one) makes a great tastebud refresher.

The KTS is probably closer to the GG clone (A clone of a clone, or just a better clone?). The EA is Electric Angel (?) Both are similar pattern - bottom side button, Telescoping, probably no Ego thread. The floating pin on the EA is an improvement on the theme, IMO.

As with all fasttech products it's hard to pick the quality of the item from a picture, and you won't know until it's in your hand. The both look pretty good, but it's pot luck when it's an unknown quantity. Nobody knew the KeCig stuff at first for example, but now we know the quality is pretty good and consistent.

If it will physically fit in the protank I dont see how it would damage the protank. after all it is feeding into a hollow tube that runs all the way up the length of it.
The T3S head is physically longer, by about 1mm. If I put it in a protank it will bear down on the center column. That top cap is only glued on!

If I can get the Protank heads to work in the T3S I shall probably take the longer heads out of rotation.

EDIT: I am going to be honest with you although I have 3 boxes of protank1 heads in my storage box I am still rebuilding my original 2 heads that came with the thing and haven't touched the new ones.

I used to do much the same but I've stopped fiddling quite so much. The ones that need attention I'm putting to in a container and will boil/dry/burn/boil/dry etc in one batch. They come up like new and the only once I re-coil now are the ones that I'm not happy with for some reason, like the wrong resistance or they just did't work as well. If I don't standardise on one head I'll be in all sorts of trouble. I guess I'm going to find out :)

Just found out that my new nova heads don't fit the old nova. They are shorter in the screw and don't connect to the terminal. It's either a new design or they are a knock off. If it's a new design.BAST**D. If they were a knock off then............What the hey they were cheap enough and i can still rewind coils,so,Ha to you vision

I got some heads from a US vendor months ago that didn't fit. They gave me store credit, but I still have the heads. I broke down and decided I would buy one of the clones they were selling so I would have something to use them on, but they told me they don't carrying anymore. They apparently bought them thinking they authentic, but when they got flack from the customers pulled them and bought real ones.

I was looking at my protank a little bit ago. Honestly unless you feel resistance when you put it together I don't think you are going to have a problem. There is ALOT of clearance above the regular head in the tube. You should have plenty of room.

Thanks for sharing your romantic stories ladies, loved them so much!

I'm so happy here being with my man  Lord Pancake  ! If our story was a movie we might name it "Meet the Pancakes" perhaps :D

We went out on our first real life date this evening. He took me to a Caribbean fusion restaurant that was super romantic and yummy. We were wearing our Team Vamo shirts that Miss BeckyBlue herself sent us for our housewarming present. We had our waiter take our pic so we could show Becky and you peeps here :D

Hey Who lookie what fasttech got a purple bolt clone https://www.fasttech.com/products/1432605

Very nice. Might be an next purchase for me here. I do love the simple look of the bolts.

I could go on and on and bore everyone to tears with my story about Mr. Robin and I. I fell in love with his personality, sight unseen. He mailed a picture to me after we declared our love. It was then decided that we should meet face to face to see if we did click in person like we did over the Internet and phone.

I met him in a public parking lot and made sure people knew I was meeting him. OMG I was so nervous. He flew from Philly to the Detroit area for that first meeting. It hurt so bad when he had to fly back. We met several times, flying back and forth for a few more months before I finally moved to the Philly area. That was...lets see.....we've been married 13 years now....living together 4 years before that..... So we've been together for HOLY COW! 17 years now. :D

Very nice. Love the story. Makes me even more encouraged when I read stuffs like this.

I really need to get into rebuild here soon.... Just gotta find the right starter and coil and wire and all that nice stuffs.

i looked at that last night....i dunno...too many choices LOL but i like my igo-L (which i may have said)

Hehe I have the same issue. Every time something new comes out something even newer comes out right behind it.

I will have to try that. I had read that snugging it up too much on a mech could damage the battery which is why I wasn't doing it. TY again my friend.

I do the same with my k101 and it does work quite nicely.

Well as you can see from  Lady Pancake's  post we just got back form a wonderful diner out, Awesome foods.

I am now going to start my quest for my rebuildable now to find a nice little tank or rda to call my own yay! Onwards and vapewards.
