My stepson is an animator. He does the faces of characters in stop motion animation films. Paranorman was the latest that was released. He showed us some things that were made with the 3D printer when we went out to Portland to visit him. Amazing what it can do!
I gave my vivi novas a solid month worth of vaping and fiddling then consigned them to the vapocalypse box. I just flat couldn't get them to stop leaking out the connector post onto my battery. It didn't matter how tight I screwed in the head or changing the head or rewicking the head. Always anywhere from a drop to a flood of juice on my battery. SO I have 3 of them and probably 30 extra heads tucked in the box for emergencies.Love the shirts Whosback and Steph, very nice of Becky to set up you with them.
I also like the vape talk on here, whether it is Myrany sharing a DIY recipe or the Pyrex tank from Fasttech, or people talking about their mods and delivery systems. I enjoyed Ocelot's Bobo blog and related posts on here, Fab4 has some great advice, and I am looking forward to hearing about Myrany and her soldering.
And hottie, I have a Viva Nova that just seems to take a licking and coming back for more.
Not much interesting going on in my life that would do anything but depress people or make them think I am an attention seeking whiner.
so now you are ranting that we are talking about vapestuff on an ecig forum? LMAOI love the Vamo shirts!
RANTERS ALL! Please post more social stuff, I don't want this thread to turn into to an RDA/RBA rebuilding/rewicking thread. We have enough of those. If I have offended anyone, I am sorry, but I like to check in here and get a laugh or two, not a headache...
I like everyone's posts, but I want to know how you guys are doing, not how your equipment is rewicked.
PLEASE NO OFFENSE TO ANY!!! I just need a thread to relax in.

Mostly I surf the web here, gaming forums, Blender videos. I listen to audiobooks while gaming or working in blender. Watch old movies on the TV. Anything but toss and turn. There is just a point where you know sleep isn't happening so get up and do something or you will be more miserable.
I can't take sleeping pills. They have a bad habit of rebounding on me and actually making me hyper.
End result is alot of time to dive into really complicated things. Spending 12 hours getting the model and texture work right on a lantern for the wagon is not unusual. 3D modeling is great for the seriously detail oriented.
BTW Who and aside for you on modeling. I to this DAY can't stand the ramp down into the Exodar in WoW the textures are all misaligned. Drives my graphic artist self CRAZY!

Yeah. I found that out like that with my vivis. Been rewicking and coiling my originals since January and they've been going great guns. I just thought that i would try a new head in the old body and was suprised not to get a ohm reading on the vamo. Inspecting the new head found it to be much shorter than the originals. Have yet to try the original heads in the new bodies. Something is telling me that i will not be able to screw on the top cap as they will be sticking out too muchIf it will physically fit in the protank I dont see how it would damage the protank. after all it is feeding into a hollow tube that runs all the way up the length of it.
Conversely to make the shorter protank heads fit the PT2 you could try the flip the silicone cup thing. Same as many people did to make evod heads fit the PT1
EDIT: I am going to be honest with you although I have 3 boxes of protank1 heads in my storage box I am still rebuilding my original 2 heads that came with the thing and haven't touched the new ones.
silly question...but can you rewick a vivi nova? Since the one fell apart I started taking it apart to see how it works....the wick is wrapped by a thin wire that pulled out of the (whatever that's called lol) so how would you be able to put the wire back?
It is not "my thread" and we are FAMILY, so I am just doing what the annoying kid sister does...stir things up.

With vaping, no issues even though I've managed to go down to 9mg.
I'm scared about going lower in case it comes back. I'm going to try going to 6mg in a couple more months.

But Robin, don't drop 1/3 of your nic in one hit if you're not sure! This is why DIY is great - drop 1mg/ml a month and you won't even notice the difference. I'm just in the process of dropping all my liquids down to 10mg/ml from 12mg/ml. Honestly, I hardly notice it. Going from 9 to 6 is a much bigger jump, IMHO.
I've got some older high strength stuff that finds its way into a dripping atty occasionally, and the nic is peppery strong. I don't enjoy it any more like that but I hardly noticed the little reductions I've been doing every few months.
Take it slow and give your body time to adjust. No need to look for trouble and bomb the nicotine. ;-)
My biggest drop was 16mg/ml down to 12mg/ml when I started using a Protank but only because I suddenly started getting nic sick all the time.
Made this for ya.
