Grrrrrrrrrrr, having one of those vaping days. Put my Protank on the Spinner and took it with me when I went to run errands today, promptly flooded the darn thing beyond belief. No biggie, just use the Smok DCT on the Sigelei V8 I brought along as a backup, except of course when I pushed the fire button all I got was - -, grrrr. So I tried the firing without inhaling technique hoping to clear the Protank, worked a little bit.

On the way back I removed the Protank and had a small lake in the center pin area of the Spinner, took a paper towel that I always carry in the car and soaked it up, then I put the towel under the 510 connection of the Protank and blew out another lake. Put it back and it has worked fine since. I have to remember how easy the draw on the Protank is, just refilled it last night after it sit for a month and forgot you just can't draw like crazy on them.

Got home and changed the carto in the Smok tank, put in back on the V8, and got - -, again. Took off the battery door, and lo and behold when I charged the batteries I put one of them in backwards. Put the batteries in the right way, and it worked, go figure.

Refilled an old carto tank that had just been sitting around. Put the carto into the wrong end cap, filled the tank and got Banana Cream everywhere, sheesh, drained the tank, put it together right and got it ready to go, flooded . Cleared it out and now it is working alright, made the mistake of putting an old Smok Dual Coil in it though, really should have pitched that carto, it is past its prime. grrrrr.

I think I might just drip something, but I would probably have problems with that.

What's amiss, and where are you in the show/books?

Tapped out

The show is great and the books are wonderful. I am starting the 4th book, Feast for Crows, and I am up to episode 19. Like all book to movie or show it just seems like they are leaving out so much and adding some things in. Alas it is the age old saga of book vs movie or show. Did you read the books first?

To clear the Protank, take it off and turn updside down. Blow through the base and give it shake to clear any drops in the mouthpiece. Only then turn it right way up and you're good to go. When on the run (like when walking the dog) I can just give these BCC devices an upside down shake and all is well.

If you blow hard into the mouthpiece with it right way up it pressurises the tank, which instantly pumps out more juice. My Protanks are running pretty good these days - mostly I can vape then down to the last 5 drops or so.

The rest I can't help you with, except some days really are like that.

Yeah, I have always done it the other way, I know it is recommend to blow though the base, but I got into the habit of doing it through the mouthpiece. Anyway all is good now, just one of those things, got to remember with the Protank to draw lightly.

I'm sorry about your day :( With cartos and the Protank I suck instead or blow. I slide a piece of paper towel up the 510 connection or cover it with a q-tip, whatever block the airflow, then suck though the mouthpiece against the resistance. It seems to force the liquid into whatever is blocking it. I then take a cold draw. If I hear gurgling, I do it again. I do it until I can't hear any gurgle and can press the bottom onto a paper towel and there is no liquid. It works for me, but I have no idea why.

Also, when I fill the Protank, after I turn it upside down and the the base off, I slide a q-tip up the center to block any liquid that might drip down. It's the perfect size.
