I like the car. I will have a vintage Chevelle (69-72 model) before too much longer. But, I will not fall in love with any one car. When the car that was meant for me comes along, I will have it. The process of finding it will take as long as it has to, these things happen for a reason.

I will not be taking up smoking, ever. That sort of thing could cut down on my remaining time of chasing women and car-mongering.

My first love was cars... specifically the old Mazdas (I have a '73 RX2 in my garage that I'm neglecting right now). Agree about the smoking, except never much for chasing women. I've been what my current gf deems a "serial monogamist..."

To each their own, my brother. I am sure your GF takes good care of you and has given you no cause to wander. In fact, life would be simpler for me if I were not the way I am. It is not as if I chose my nature. I mean, it is a pretty silly way for a 43 year old man to act...

But like Blink 182 says, I never want to act my age, what's my age again?

I'm 42, and like the saying says, "just because I'm 'taken' doesn't mean I'm dead..." There's no judgment coming from this corner! Good luck with that car! I'm soooooooooooo tired of dealing with emissions type stuff that I'd love to do an old minimalist 'rod of some sort. Even though my car technically doesn't need smog, it still supposed to conform.

The worst part for this kind of stuff, SoCal. I know there are ways around it, but I've been down that road too many times. I'd rather just build something legit and not have to worry.

Good God, man...

I have no such worries in Virginia.
